Encik Tan (Waterway Point)

Chicken cutlets size is small. Will only give regular customer bigger portion, example Best Denki’s staffs. The Teh Melaka drink never come with stirrer/ straw. Milk/syrup thingy is at the bottom of the cup. Checked with the counter, only manged to get a short teaspoon and is impossible to reach the bottom of the cup. In the end with chopstick to stir.

Disappointed with Encik Tan lately. Taste has fallen off—nothing like before. Meat servings are much smaller (photos speak for themselves), and the curry is far from its usual standard.

The food/ingredients were really not much. And the drink (milo) is quite diluted. Maybe the rent’s too expensive

Pathetic portion of food given. Ordered 2 sets of chicken cutlet set. Surprise to see such small portio of chicken meat. To be exact 3 to 4 pieces of chicken nuggets sizing per plate. Enquired with counter staff on quality and size of food and she could tell this is the way it is. What kind of attitude is this?! I have patronise compass one and waterway point outlet frequently but have to say its a big disappointment to its food quality and service attitude. Avoid this outlet at all cost. Out to con money with nice photos and food served is another story. NOT RECOMMENEDED

Time about 11am plus, buy takeaway noodle at waterway point encik tan, I told the staff who cooks the noodle that I want dark soya sauce n ketchup only for 3 time then she acknowledged which I fully understand due to the noisy environment inside cooking.. when she is doing the noodle with sauce I told her again dark soya sauce with ketchup another 2 time, she put a pitch of drop of each which I am fine cause she should know how to cook it taste the best, after she done I see the noodle is clear yellow, I told the lady can I add ABIT more ketchup and dark soya sauce? She acknowledged and put light soya sauce few time, I repeat myself I would like to have dark soya sauce then she point at the light soya sauce saying this is dark soya sauce, so I point at the dark soya sauce nearby and ask isn't it dark soya and that is light soya? She then show her temper by doing 4-5 spoonful of dark soya sauce which I request.. end up my noodle become as photo.. I need to wash it with hot water till the noodle doesn't taste salty This is call service. Thank you Encik Tan experience which I promise today will be my last time

ordered the chicken curry cutlet and specifically asked for no egg (bc i wanted more veggies) and guess what… they gave me EXTRA EGG and NO veggies… which part of “不要蛋” do they not understand?? or is it they old alr hearing got problem??? served by an old auntie and a 20s looking young man. like ik it’s quite uncommon for people to order no egg bc usually it’s no veggies but hello??? they literally laughed amongst themselves when they heard that idw egg. RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME. god forbids a girl wanting to eat her veggies. god forbids a girl not liking eggs. pls work on your customer service skills and your HEARING skills. because the last time i checked “不要蛋” sounds nothing like “不要菜”。DAMN DISAPPOINTED. Bought curry cutlet chicken rice take away from lunch.. The cutlet potion is ridiculous.. For the price it not worth at all..

Whenever craving Chinese food, I’ll usually buy from here. Their wanton mee memang on top, tasty and comforting for a quick meal. Portion is decent for the price too.
