What upset me most was when the staff member (old Malay lady) told me that she could only give me this small amount of ikan bilis. In my experience, whenever she is serving, any request for a simple change or substitution is immediately rejected without consideration. I understand that staff may need to follow company policies. However, I had already requested for the sambal chilli to be removed because my son does not eat spicy food. I was not asking for extra food, only a simple substitution for an item that would otherwise go to waste. Being told that only this tiny amount could be given made me feel that my request was being treated unfairly. It was not the quantity itself that disappointed me, but the lack of flexibility and the way the situation was handled. As a customer who has supported this outlet for many years, I left feeling very disappointed and unappreciated. Unfortunately, this experience has convinced me that this will be our last visit to this branch. I hope management will review this matter and encourage staff to exercise reasonable flexibility and provide a more customer-friendly experience, especially when handling simple requests for children’s meals.

I was a long term Patreon for this store, until they recently changed staff. I asked to have only anchovies without peanuts but my request was rejected by the new staff (older malay aunty). This has been my long term requests all along until this new staff came. I thought to give this review to make proper awareness to the boss. Service in the past was way higher than current.

Update Price increased to $8. But quality deproved... Update Actually their grill can be slightly inconsistent. Some time filled with smokey goodness. Occasionally I don't even get that taste. Update! Price increased to $7.50 Update Ordered nasi ayam cabe ljo which is sambal green chili for $6.90. It is above average but the chicken don't have the grill taste. So stick with taliwang Ordered ayam taliwang for $6.90. Godly Ayam. The grill chicken is sooo good. The char grill taste was excellent. Spicy. Da la level. Learn my lesson not to mix in with the rice. So still manageable without water. Pro Rice and honestly the egg was one of the best sunny side up. Tender due to the exact timing of frying. Peanut and ikan bilis are well roosted and fried. On a side note I saw a lot people going for the fried chicken... Honestly why? Shall see next time if it is better than the grill chicken.

My mum ordered number 16 on the item menu, the staff is taking order from the kitchen do not want to come out to take order and heard as 6. Item 6 is more expensive and have more items but she cannot finish. Due to my mum poor eye sight, she cannot see how much is paid. So waited for quite some time, the guy is serving other customers so my mum check with him on her order he says: order very big? Cannot wait ah? ( the tone is so bad to a old woman) When he serve the food my mum realised wrong item, then realised charge wrongly( he did not even give my mum the receipt). I ask for refund and change the food item he says cannot. Honestly, this kind of attitude cannot work in the service industry.

Decided to order their fried chicken set instead of their usual bbq chicken. Tasted so off, stale and smelly chicken with burnt taste. Threw away the entire chicken

I ordered my food and asked if I could scan using the fair price app to get link points and the auntie just say cannot. It clearly shows there are the counter and they dont follow it. What the hell.

Egg white still have raw & chicken taste not sedap anymore. Counter older female staff is rude. Management should review how they prepare & cook the food in Canberra stall as the taste standard is degrading & advise the staff to be customer friendly.

Simply the best nasi lemak. Hot fish fillet all fresh! Kind indian lady served me 👍🏻👍🏻
