Went to Bedok 85 for dinner with my wife and really enjoyed the experience. It’s nice to see that despite how much food prices have increased elsewhere, you can still find plenty of affordable and satisfying options here. What I love most is that many of the classic local favourites and delicacies are still around, giving the place that nostalgic old-school hawker feel. Great variety, reasonable prices, and plenty of good food to choose from. Definitely one of those places that reminds you why Singapore hawker food is so special. Will happily come back again for another makan session!

noticed the staff were talking while cooking and not wearing masks. It raised concerns about hygiene and whether saliva droplets could end up in the food. Cleanliness should be taken more seriously.. OMG PLEASE BE CAREFUL

Went there in the evening but many stores are closed. Had Hokkien prawn mee and orh luak at 85 乡村古早耗煎, food is OK but attendant attitude is BAD, ordered takeaway but when I returned, told attendant aka the aunty face turned black, in her dismay voice and started nagging, saying I never say and said she would not have given beeper if it is takeaway. Blah x 30. I am like 🤦♂️. I ordered other takeaway food was given the beeper. If you do not want to have bad experience affecting your food mood, try recording your conversation before ordering..... if not on your own risk...

Ok food. Tried the teriyaki Chic meal, the meat is quite hard and dry. Filling meal though. Chicken rice stall seems popular. Some home decor/ religious stall have very smelly cockroach smell, don’t worry as it is not a food stall. Haven’t tried the wet market here as I’m used to blk 58 mkt .

Super yummy spot HAHA Come here to eat quite often with my boyfriend The lor mee is really nice with crispy fish! Can taste the lor sauce. BCM is also good and I love the otah HAHA it's $3 for 6, that's basically 2010 prices and has a nice char. Carrot cake is crispy with thick egg omelette too if you're into that :) And of course the tang yuan is good!

This food center is quite poplar in the east area. They have stalls covering breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper crowds. They are famous for Bak Chor Mee, Grilled Chicken Wings, Chinese style Satay, Zi Char Stalls, Pork Porridge and Prawn Noddle. There is also a small NTUC beside this market. There are stalls that operating until 11pm/12am, hence also attracted supper crowds…

Favourite hawker center, especially at night, for delicious foods. Worth trying various nice foods and drinks there. But hard to find parking space near by. I need to park at carpark about 500m away and need to walk 5-8 minutes.

First time visiting this Bedok 85 in my entire life staying in Singapore. There are surprisingly a lot of options but just feels like something isn’t it. The food we had were sadly all quite depressing in terms of quality and the level of hype. Perhaps if there is a second time, will try the wet Bak Chor Mee (soup).
