amazing high quality meat with top tier service!! felt so spoilt we didn’t even have to do any grilling!! also did i mention the sides. so yummy! the lotus root and kimchi were so addictive, thank god for freeflow banchans. if you are looking to have a good meal, this is the place to be! 4 years returning customer here 💯💯 ambience is 11/10

The complimentary Wagyu Oyster Blade promotion with reservations was a really nice bonus and a great way to start the meal. Had a wonderful dining experience overall. One of the highlights was the service. The staff took care of all the BBQ grilling from start to finish, so we could simply sit back, enjoy the food and focus on the conversation. They were attentive throughout the meal and ensured everything was cooked perfectly. Besides the generous quality side dishes, the mains such as the Korean Abalone Pot Rice & Spicy Seafood Noodle were equally memorable. Great food, excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere near the Singapore river.

Had a wonderful dining experience at Hanjip Korean Grill House. We ordered the Set Dinner for 2 and everything was really satisfying. The medium well grilled Wagyu was tender, juicy and full of flavour. Their ginseng chicken soup was comforting and rich, while the cheese omelette is definitely a must-try dish! The staffs were friendly, cheerful and attentive throughout the meal, which made the whole experience even better. We also received a complimentary slice of birthday cake, which was such a sweet gesture and made the celebration extra special. Great food, great service and a very enjoyable atmosphere. Will definitely come back again!

I came here with my family to celebrate my sister’s birthday, and it turned into one of the more indulgent Korean meals we’ve had together. From the moment we arrived, the experience already felt slightly elevated. We were even given a complimentary upgrade to a private dining room, which made the occasion feel more intimate and fitting for a celebration. We decided on the 6-pax course, and the spread that followed was generous. Dish after dish arrived at a steady, well-paced rhythm. Nothing felt rushed, and nothing was delayed to the point of frustration. The meats were the highlight. Rich, savoury, and deeply satisfying, each cut carried a strong, meaty flavour that held up even without heavy sauces. The grilling was handled well, allowing the natural taste of the meat to come through. Alongside that, the soups added another layer to the meal. They were bold, comforting, and full-bodied, the kind you keep going back to between bites of meat. The staff played a big role in the experience. Friendly, attentive, and patient, they made sure everything ran smoothly without hovering too much. For a group setting, that balance matters. Hanjip sits on the higher end in terms of pricing, and it shows. This isn’t a casual drop-in kind of place. But for celebrations, family gatherings, or even business meals where you want something reliable and substantial, it delivers. If you’re around Clarke Quay and looking for a Korean meal that feels a little more complete and occasion-worthy, Hanjip is worth considering.

Had such a wonderful weekend lunch at Hanjip! Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious, from the rich and tender Jeju Black Pork Kurobuta Platter to the fresh and delicate Hamachi Carpaccio. The Hanjip Kale Salad was light and refreshing, while the Ginseng Chicken Soup felt incredibly nourishing. The Korean Abalone Pot Rice came in a piping hot stone pot, full of deep flavors, and the Spicy Seafood Noodles were both comforting and packed with flavor. I especially loved the hands-free grilling experience, which made everything so effortless and enjoyable. The luxurious banchan spread really elevated the meal, and best of all, we could enjoy everything without leaving with lingering odors. The elegant ambience and attention to detail truly made this a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a premium Korean meal!

Absolutely loved the hands free Korean BBQ experience here it made the whole meal so much more enjoyable and stress free. The staff expertly handled the grilling and adjusted everything to our preferred doneness. The meat selection was fresh and of good quality. The beef short ribs, ribeye, oyster blade and pork jowl were all tender, juicy with just the right amount of fat. The hamachi was fresh, smooth and refreshing. Also, the kale salad dressing was light yet flavorful and it really helped awaken the palate for the meal ahead. The beef short ribs soup is also a must order as the broth was light yet flavorful. Big shoutout to Adeline for her service. She was attentive throughout our meal and when we struggled with opening our soju she noticed and came over to help without us even asking.

Superb service by Moon, during the service she made sure to grill the meat to our liking, and was very attentive to our needs – whenever one of us started to look around she’d ask if we needed anything, she also promptly checks if we needed a refill for our sides and drinks. We never needed to fret about needing refills but being too paiseh to ask 😋 Food was also amazing, we had the kurobuta platter and all the cuts were juicy and not jelat! Seafood pancake and naengmyeon was really good as well. The sides were also really really good, personally am a big fan of the lotus root side (almost wanted to tabao it home to snack on). You dont need to worry about leaving the place with the bbq smell in your hair and clothes, i dont know how they do it but it was never a problem for any of us, especially since this isnt my first time here! Easily my fave kbbq place. Really a bang for your buck :)
