Amazing people and amazing food! Had the rendang grilled cheese toastie, it was so flavourful especially combined with the shallots and pickles. Instead of meat, it is with jackfruit so a more veg-friendly option. It can take several minutes to prepare because it is served freshly made. Had several sweets: pistachio halva blondie, strawberry balsamic brownie, yemeni honey croissant, matcha strawberry cheesecake. There is no stinge with the fillings, each bite is packed and rich with butter/cheese/nuts/chocolate etc. To top of it, they display their pro-palestine support boldly, encouraging me to make this a bi-weekly spot to visit. While I was gorging on my my loot, I saw the owners giving maintenance workers drinks+food. Damnit the owners even take care of stramgers!

5 stars taste, but kinda pricey for toastie so minus 1 star $6 brownie, $13 halloumi toastie Brownie - I would say great value for similar prices out there. Not too sweet, quality choc chips and there’s nuts. Tbh I was quite blown away by the taste! After having 1 of it, it’d be filling and just nice. Toastie - cheese that has meaty flavour. This was very nice, bread had crunch at the sides, wonderful flavour. Just expensive for a toastie :/ Will come back n try other stuff next time round ;) Staff were friendly n helpful!

This place is not east to visit because it only opens 4 days a week! Was nearby having lunch and saw it open and there was a queue, so I went back again after I finished my lunch and there was just another customer in front of me. This is a pure takeaway place, though there is a small bench outside which can probably sit 2 persons. The shop looks very interesting there are like so many things that caught my attention. It's also very wordy felt like I need to read so many words before ordering. Finally was my turn and took some time to decide and also asked for some recommendations. That was a wrong move man, the 2 ladies at the counter started recommending this and that and I just went OK and kept getting more. The asked me to get a sourdough but it was kinda big for me so just got the small slices of bakes and cookies. Before I left got told their iced chocolate was good and so I also gave in to it. Was a bit troublesome I was carrying some stuff and had to carry the box of bakes and a drink. That point in time only wished I had a bag or something. Went home and tried out the items over a few days. The iced chocolate was definitely good, and most bakes don't really require heating. The whole box was placed in the chiller and just took whatever I wanted out 10 minutes before eating. The lime buttermilk bundycake was not bad, though the lime cream on top melted a bit in the box. It's one of the must buy and it looked dense but it's actually not. The chocolate marble was good too, probably one of my favourites. The chocolate basque burnt cheesecake was quite thick and it was absolutely enjoyable. The last was finally not chocolate and had the matcha macadamia cookie which was probably the one I liked the most, also the only item which I placed in the airfryer to get it a little warm. It was like a happy box for me and enjoyed everything I got. Will definitely return back to try the other stuff I have been eyeing!

This is a grab and go bakery store. Social media say their sourdough is nice so i decided to give it a try. My personal opinion on the country sourdough $8.50. Priced reasonably. Too sour, too moist to my liking. Sourdough is a little sticky when cut. Maybe overproofing? Maybe excessive water? Or maybe this is the characteristics of their version of sourdough. They do sell other bakes too - cakes, small bread & etc. I didn’t try those cuz I am a sucker for sourdough. Maybe next time.

There was a long line when I first passed by this shop awhile ago, so I had to grab something this time when there was just one person in line. Had high hope but I have to say I was quite disappointed with the sourdough I got. It was clear that whole batch was burnt abit on the outside by the look of all the loafs on the shelf that morning. When I sliced it after I got home, the inside of the sourdough was lack of bubbles(holes) and seemed to be overproved as it was extremely sticky and dense. Basque cheese tasted okay, abit too sweet to my taste. I feel that if you are making "products " to sell, you have to make sure your products meet certain standards cuz reputation is hard to build, but easy to be broken. You should rather close the shop for the day when you found your products were not presentable that morning.

Had high hopes for the sandwich given how it was so highly raved on TikTok. We waited more than 20 minutes for this Mushroom Gochujang sandwich ($13) which is fine but I was a tad disappointed at how acidic the whole sandwich tasted. I understand that the acidic/sour taste is from the sourdough itself, but there were no balanced flavours. Even if the bread was sour, I believe it should be balanced with the ingredients in the bread :( The gochujang taste was also kind of non-existent. It was too acidic to finish the whole thing. The bakes were not bad though! Chocolate and banana bundt cake was rich and good, but could not taste the banana at all. Homeycomb oat latte was the best — just the right amount of sweetness after the honeycomb melted. I would say go straight for the bakes unless you really like acidic flavours. Take note that they might “upsell” some things too and might ask you multiple times if you would like other items.

been here multiple times and I’ll always buy their blondie and Bundt cake but the choc banana cake wasn’t available yesterday when I got there. Tried something new, Tunisian Orange Cake and their brewed coffee. Both was really good! Staff was so friendly too and gave me a sample cup of their Ethiopia beans brew too.

read a few reviews on how some people did not enjoy the gummy(?) texture of the sourdough but decided to try anyway. - for $9.5 the sourdough was heavy and dense, it went well with our avocado spreads. it is definitely more nutritious and filled you up faster than the sourdough we usually have. - the staff was kind enough to give a heads up on the texture of the sourdough and I learnt that this is a certain style of a more moist and dense sourdough type. - I believe it comes down to personal preference on this kind of things, this sourdough would be good for those who enjoy dense and moist sourdough texture. I will come back to try the drinks next time.
