Mr. Onigiri

Tried their Signature Cheesy Crispy Chicken Onigiri. The size was decent and the Onigiri was really good! Chicken was tender and crispy and the sauce went well with it. Adding on the cucumbers, luncheon meat and tamago egg, it was quite a hearty meal! Also really appreciate that the price on the menu is the final price - no GST or service charge! That said, the meal preparation takes a while. I had to wait almost 30 minutes on a weekday lunchtime despite only having (I think?) 4 or 5 people ahead of me. Being a tiny takeaway-only shop, waiting outside in the hot weather can also get uncomfortable, though there are seats. Still, a banger price for an excellent meal. Will absolutely come back!

This place is so cute. Walked by afew times and now I’m gonna try the original onigiri~ they sell merch too and it’s so cute. Anyway had the onigiri and the rice, egg & luncheon meat was okay. Seaweed is not crunchy. I also ordered the cheapest item in the menu just to try first. Would buy again if I’m looking for a small quick fast meal to go. Everything else is $7/8 - depending on ingredients in ur onigiri. Not cheap in my opinion but never try never know! No seats for eating (maybe u can sit on their little bench if there’s nobody there) but can sit and wait.

This branch is right outside my house and have picked up lunch several times. Onigiris are tasty, well priced and filling. Recently had to make a delivery order and was lazy to key in (17 sets each with different mains, sides and drinks 🤭) via their website so I whatsapped them my order in a pdf. Was just trying my luck and was not expecting anyone to entertain but Gerald from HQ promptly processed my order and ensured delivery was on time. Very important coz it was lunch for preschool teachers who have a very short lunch break! Thanks for the amazing service Gerald!

My boy has a regular tuition class nearby on Sunday morning, and I cannot recall from when this Onigiri place has become the favourite lunch place for him and his classmates. Most of them go for the Signature cheese chicken and occasionally kami kama. The latest addition to their menu is spam with onigiri. The name made me laugh first but the taste is absolutely blissful.

Pricing is affordable with their set meal or add on options. Ordered their all day set meal, which include Onigiri, side and a drink, it's only $10.90! Just 1 set is sufficient to keep my tummy full till my next meal as the portion is filling (in my opinion) Staff is very friendly too 👍🏻 Location is just a few minutes walk away from Upper Thomson MRT and it's sheltered.

Absolutely loved this place. The onigiri was fresh and full of flavour, and the signature melted cheesy crispy chicken was a must try, super crispy, cheesy, and very satisfying. You can tell the ingredients are good quality and everything is prepared with care. The staff were friendly and welcoming too.

First time trying, looks good and set meal is a decent price. Free tote bag for review, so cute. Update: took 5-10mins to get so waiting time is not bad. Very tasty and more filling than expected, the tater tots and food was all fresh, ice lemon tea was good too.

The onigiri was absolutely delicious. The rice was soft and perfectly seasoned, and the filling was generous and flavourful. It tasted fresh and comforting, making it a simple yet very satisfying meal. I would definitely come back for more.
