Didn't see the ayam penyet stall being reviewed much, so thought to chime in. Slightly pricey but we'll worth the price for ayam bakar, I got a meaty thigh with delicious veg for a takeaway order, all under 5 minutes! Probably also because it was peak hour at 6+pm so the cook was already prepping the ingredients. Would recommend!

There's a Korean stall on the right of a Taiwanese stall where the lady at the counter talking order very rudely. I stand in front of the stall wanting to make my order at the collection side. Me: I would like to order... She: come over here. As she walk to the cashier. After taken my order she pass me the receipt with 2 fingers clamping on it as shown on the attached photo. This is my 2nd time order food from this stall and its also the 2nd time this lady hand the receipt to me this way. The food no doubt is cheap and nice but I do not recommend people to buy food from them because of such service.

It's admirable to see such an effort made to maintain a comfortable temperature in the dining room. While using an oversized fan is an ingenious and effective solution for regulating the temperature, its impressive power does cause some inconvenience for diners. Ideally, a cooling system provides a gentle and pleasant breeze. However, because the airflow from this fan is particularly strong and direct, it's slightly difficult for customers to fully relax and enjoy their meal. It's perfectly understandable that a solution, however well-intentioned, can sometimes disrupt the dining experience and detract from the warm and inviting atmosphere the restaurant is clearly striving to create. To preserve this peaceful ambiance, it would be wise to simply reduce the fan's rotation speed. Furthermore, for future installations, placing these larger units a little higher, at least 5 meters from the floor, would help achieve the right balance between coolness and optimal comfort.

Hainanese curry rice: Fragrant curry, good portion (especially with the rice) Mixed veg rice: Often a long queue in the evening. They have good fried rice, about $5+ for 1 veg+1 meat+fried rice. Ingredients are nice Herbal soup: Average portion, nice lotus root soup (though, it tastes about the same in most herbal soup stalls), goes well with pumpkin rice. Korean: Both Korean stalls are fine, Jin Kimchi in particular is a chain stall but the quality is good and the packaging is well sealed. Butter and Cream: really good cakes and tarts, but I recommend eating fresh. Especially the egg tarts, they taste much better fresh than kept overnight in the fridge. Carrot cake: white carrot cake is pretty good, but can be quite salty / oily. They forgot to add / remove chili based on request a few times...but overall the food is good and I will buy again Drink stall: Teh peng is ok. Avocado drink is a scam, the gula melaka is very sweet and tastes good but I am fairly certain "avocado juice" should be blended...not have the whole avocado.... There's nothing in particular that stands out a lot, but it's relatively affordable in general and food is not bad! Just won't recommend the avocado "juice" 😹

Dear Owner of Kopitiam(Fairprice Group), may a humble common peasant like me ask, have your company staffs trained to handle the drinks stall with the standard operation procedure through out all the kopitiam outlet. If so, how do you justify the amount of drinks that is served to customer. $2.70 for this cup of milo, a cup full of ice (to the brim) and poured in with cold (ready made) milo, compared to outlets that serve the same thing, a cup full of ice and poured in with hot(freshly made) milo. And also given the recent inflation, does Fairprice Group find this price ($2.70) reasonable? Thank you.

This 1 star is given to a Vietnamese Bánh mì stall. It cost me SG$8 and the piece of chicken inside can't even been seen outside the bread. It's smaller than 旺旺米饼. When the lady pass the packet of Bánh mì to me, its feels like I am holding a empty bag. Don't waste your money on this stall. For SG$8, I can have a big piece of fried chicken for Economic Rice with another meat and vegi, a big burger, a 2 pieces fried chicken from western food stall, a whole chicken from Cold Storage with $0.10 less. Photo shows that I have eaten half of the bread and the chicken is haven't appear yet.

I've never eaten such terrible food. It tasted awful; the beef was tough, dry, and chewy, and it was expensive too.
