What a tremendous find in the Katong area of Singapore! Such a hidden gem! I was staying in the area looking for a good place for dinner and came across this spot in a mixed retail building on the 5th floor in the corner (it’s the corner closer to the side that is across from the Holiday Inn). The entrance is behind two doors where this amazing array of visuals appear - a chandelier made of desk lamps, beautiful liquor bottles, colorful posters and stickers and just modern and unique touches that really give it a flavor that keeps to its name. The food though is… wow. Just something out of this world! When you look at the menu you’re going to see a lot of different things - small bites and mains and a desert plus drinks. One drink minimum with a food order. I asked one of the employees (Crisanne who was the SWEETEST!) what she would order and her recommendations were the best! I ordered the octopus tentacle, the otak pate and the wagyu cap - a hearty combo for one person but no regrets. Everything super deliciously prepared, balanced, great flavors and visually stunning. You’re getting a super high end meal here in such an easygoing environment and it’s nice to be able to have places like this who care so much about the quality of food and the vibes of making everyone feel like family! Just loved my experience and can’t wait to come back with more friends and family (because also I want to try more food!)

Gem of a joint to wind down. Surprise date night w the wife. Interiors that took us away from Sg. Staff were absolutely lovely and pro. Hostess (which we didn’t get her name) was conversant, knowledgable and reflective of the overall vibes of the venue. Crafts beers were good but the standouts were the small plates. Well charred. Smokey. Ingredients used top notch. Elegantly plated and just fun. Mid joint wings, jowl and octopus I would definitely recommend. The chicken hearts of skewer gave such a wonderful Mouthfeel to start the night. Thank you. Will be back. The east rocks!

Great hidden gem at The Flow @ East Coast! Had dinner at In Bad Company and was really impressed by both the food and the vibe. We ordered: 1️⃣ Sambal Squid – perfectly grilled and aromatic with a smoky banana leaf fragrance, complemented by the tangy calamansi vinaigrette and crunchy rice chips. 2️⃣ Linguine – absolutely delicious! The truffle cream and mixed mushrooms (king oyster, yanagi & portobello) made it rich, earthy, and comforting — one of the best I’ve had. 3️⃣ Chicken Mid-Joint Wings – crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and the chilli dip is a must-try! Heard it’s homemade — highly recommend it. The place has a cool, artsy atmosphere with great music, warm service, and an extensive craft beer & wine list. Perfect for a chill night out with friends or date night. Will definitely come back again!

Ambience was good, place had a nice vibe to it. Unfortunately the food to my personal opinion could have been better seasoned. Most of the dishes were under seasoned to the point where we had to ask for a saucer of salt. The pasta was overcooked (but probably was a one off). The staff was attentive but after giving our feedback I could feel that the staff’s attitude towards us changed. I saw a few reviews mentioning portion size but I feel it’s okay if the food was of exceptional taste and quality, but sadly it fell abit short of my expectations. Best dish tonight were the gem hearts and tofu.

First time visit with a wonderful experience from waiting staff Anne and Isaac and owner/chef Tim. A cool and yummy twist to Peranakan cuisine by chef Tim which our party of 4 truly enjoyed…my late nonya grandma would have truly approved. As for beverages, Anne and Tim sure know their natural wines which I’m not particularly fond of, but after having tried their house red, you wouldn’t even know it was a drop of natural, that’s if you don’t ask and not told, so all good. Cant pick a favourite dish as they were all delish…otak pate, bone marrow, sambal pork sausage risotto, wagyu flat iron steak and mushroom linguine…kaya panna cotta dessert to finish off…absolute yummers and a must try when in this wonderful island city.

We ordered a few dishes: the Otak Pâté, Wagyu Rump Cap, Hokkaido Scallop Carpaccio and Linguine. The Otak Pâté was a rich, flavourful and it blended perfectly with the crispy bread. The Hokkaido Scallop Carpaccio was juicy and tasted fresh. The Wagyu Rump Cap was decent, nicely cooked to medium-rare. The only disappointment was the Linguine, which sadly was rather bland. They also offer a good selection of craft beers and creative cocktails. Overall, it's a worthwhile place for a casual and relaxing night out.

This place, is just super duper amazingly awesome 🥳 In Bad Co doesn’t only serve great craft beers, they serve amazing obscure tasty wines. The bottle Zwee Not!? Is a wine from Japan, we loved it. The food here is so good, mid joint wings are fresh, battered well and spicy. The pomfret and the lamb (in the big plates) is plenty, used good ingredients and super tasty. What I loved most about In Bad Co is just how great service staff is, they’re helpful, attentive and so kind.
