Wala Wala Cafe Bar

Place has a nice ambience, especially for a quick catch up with friends. There were even some live bands playing when I visited. The pasta and bites they served here were surprisingly good. Pizza, not quite. Giving 4 stars here because prices were a tad bit on the expensive side

This has been my fav place. Just when they announced they are closing, we went twice in very big group to support. Today we arrived at 630pm. Indoor is almost empty but all under reservation as claimed. I spoke to an Indian staff. He did not give us a table even after I asked 3 times. One of the table has 3 ladies on it but its joint by 3 tables. He told me that they reserved for 14 pax. However from 7 to 9, only the 3 were there. How can wala allow 3 pax to sit 14 pax long table for 2h and rejecting many customers who wanted to sit there? Ended up after 2h, they released the table to others but not to us. That particular staff is rude and did not keep his promise to release the table to us. It is very disappointing.

This pub is a landmark at Holland Village. They announced their closure in 2025, but later announced that they will remain open. It was rather quiet for a Wednesday night. About 5 tables were occupied, each with 2-3 customers. Most patrons were seated outside due to the cooler weather and to people-watch. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Live band performance will commence from 15 Jan 2026.

The vibe is back in Holland V! Nice new fresh look! The live band adds so much to this institution! Congratulations to Team Wala Wala on such a wonderful revamp! Kudos.

The pizza was ok, but the spaghetti are the worst. It has no taste, you can only feel the creaminess and spiciness. The pasta itself is very dry inside, I don’t know how they make make it so bad🤣

One of my go-to café bars is closing down, and I’m really going to miss this place. Loved the vibes here, it was always a chill spot to hang out. So many good memories over drinks and conversations. Sad to see it go!

Only few tables were occupied on Monday night. Nice place to chill & chitchat with friends. Wala Pizza & chicken wings are recommended! Happy hour from 4 - 9.
