Sometimes you really just have to force yourself to find something to enjoy in a place that’s frankly not worth enjoying at all. It’s busy, sure — but the drinks are garbage, and the service is somehow even worse. What kind of joke is this? You pay for free‑flow cocktails, and they tell you they ran out… and won’t make more for another 30 minutes? So you’re stuck drinking the same boring rubbish over and over, with zero chance to try anything else on this so‑called “liquid buffet”. First time it happened, we let it slide. Second time? Same exact nonsense. Third time? Somehow even worse. And don’t get me started on those two guys behind the bar — rude, unhelpful, acting like we’re bothering them just for ordering. They honestly deserve a reality check, but I’m too decent to even waste my energy. We wanted a refund the second time we got fobbed off with whatever random swill they had left instead of what we asked for… but it just wasn’t worth the fight. Bottom line: Save your money and your mood. This place isn’t “cheap and cheerful” — it’s cheap and rude. Helen’s? Never again. Not even if you paid me.
