Cable Car 1890's Saloon

Was there at 1pm chilling outdoors. They have great promotions on Guinness and Tigers. Food is fantastic as well. This is one of the legendary pubs in Singapore. Staffs are great.

We always have fun at Cable car, whether it’s a family friendly gathering, a party or a late night drink! The staff are welcoming and the menu is expansive and hearty ☺️

The environment is comfortable. The service staff there are also very friendly. The food is also delicious. I recommend it.

Food is good. Connected to Japanese’s next door. Free popcorn. These two were killing it on a crazy busy Monday!

In addition to going to an izakaya, it's also nice to have a drink at a bar like this once in a while.

A chill out place. Indoors are air-conditioned and good for conversion with friends. Good value drinks as with the rest of the restaurants and bars along the stretch.

I went to this place a few times, and i the few times i went there. There was a skinny chinese lady behind the bar. She does not look like she cares about her customer needs and looks like shes there for the sake of being there.

We visited here on September 9, 2025, at 18:45. Three servers were standing behind the menu boards while we were browsing the menu, but none of them attended to us or took the initiative to invite us to sit down. Very unfriendly and poor service staff.
