Ida's Event Space

We held our wedding at Ida’s Event Space and booked both the Event Gallery and Courtyard, and we absolutely LOVED every bit of the venue! 🥹❤️ What drew us to Ida’s in the first place was just how warm and cosy the entire space felt. Honestly, even without any additional décor, the venue already has so much character on its own. It doesn’t feel like your typical wedding venue at all, and that was exactly what we wanted. For our intimate wedding of around 120 guests, it was perfect! And apparently our guests agreed too 😂 We had SO many people coming up to us during and after the wedding asking, “Where did you find this place?!” We received so many compliments about the venue, which made us even happier with our decision to have our wedding here. 🥹 For fellow Muslim couples considering Ida’s for an intimate wedding ; we managed to make it work really well for ours too! ❤️ We engaged AMICI, a halal-certified caterer that has worked closely with Ida’s, and since the bar was not in use during our event, we had it covered up for the wedding. It worked out really well for us, so definitely don’t immediately write the venue off if you love the space. Speak to the team about what arrangements can be made for your own event! We also want to give a special mention to Sanaya, who took over the coordination partway through our wedding planning. Despite coming in halfway, she did a great job making sure everything was in place for our big day. Communication with her was a breeeeze, and that made the planning process so much easier for us! We even spotted her interacting with the children during our wedding 😂❤️ It was such a small thing, but seeing that warmth and personal touch while she was working made the service feel even more genuine. Overall, Ida’s was everything we wanted our wedding venue to be; intimate, warm, cosy and full of character. It created exactly the atmosphere we envisioned, and seeing how much our guests loved the space too was the cherry on top. All we can say is… Ida’s Event Space is a 10000/10 venue for us!! 😂❤️ We would choose it all over again!

I celebrated my 50th birthday at Ida’s, and it was such a wonderful experience. It is a beautiful space, made even more special by the people. Sanaya was the most fantastic point of contact from beginning to end. She listened to what I wanted, asked all the right questions, helped me work within my budget, and made the whole planning process feel incredibly easy. Chef Kavi was fabulous and the food was absolutely delicious. Charlie and Dipesh looked after us brilliantly on the night, and the cocktails were excellent. The warmth, care, and attention of the whole team made the celebration what it was. Thank you, Sanaya, Chef Kavi, Charlie, and Dipesh, for making my 50th so special.

Visited the space last weekend for Grace Showcase with Bloom Asia. The space was such a delight to be in and all the staff are helpful and friendly throughout the whole night. Great flowers throughout the space!

Really cool bistro and event space. Chill out vibes amidst black-amd-white colonial houses. Recommended for some time out before Gillman Barracks is torn down.

Cosy place and friendly staff. Definitely worth an evening. Food is ample and tasty! Had a really good cocktail 🍸 too!

THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! Never felt so scammed in my life. The moment you enter they ask you if you want a sparkling or still water (we didn’t even sit to see the menu) then they charge you 12$ for two tiny cups of water? Are you for real? At this price at least give me the bottle… paid 42$ for a Jasmine iced tea with no taste of tea and an average mocktail and two tiny cups of water… what a scam!

Had the best experience working with Ida’s for our recent live music night. Philicia and the team were extremely well organized and professional. Their event management experience was evident, because some of the things they planned ahead for were not even on my radar. Not only that, but we really felt their support coming alongside our cause since this event had a charitable purpose. The space is beautiful and adaptable and the acoustics were great for live music (we just had a simple guitar & mic set-up). I would absolutely recommend this as an event space and would jump at the opportunity to do another event here!!
