Lovely Korean-style café in Tanjong Pagar. I came in the morning and really enjoyed the quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The café has a warm, minimalist interior with wooden details and a beautiful paper pendant light. The space feels spacious and comfortable, with both window seats and sofa areas. I tried the Ube Latte, Chocolate Banana Croissant and Blueberry Cream Cheese Croissant. The Ube Latte was smooth and not overly sweet, while both croissants were nicely flaky. I especially liked the blueberry and cream cheese combination, as the slight tanginess from the blueberries helped balance the richness.

Had the visitors cream latte, iced black, croissant with whipped butter, black sesame basque cheesecake and truffle egg soldiers. Whipped butter tasted a little bland, but that's because whipping it introduces air which causes it to be bland. A teaspoon of maldon salt(?) was provided as well which I felt was a good move because the salt sprinkle gave an alternative texture to the flaky croissant and the butter. Basque cheesecake was a bit too.. solid? maybe because of the black sesame. Wasn't disappointing but wasn't something memorable. Truffle egg soldiers felt a little.. underwhelming. Would have been good if the bread sticks were of uniform size and were able to be dipped into the egg because we ended up having to bite the sticks into shape so that we could dip it. Of course, you can dig out the egg but where's the fun. Very packed on a Sunday afternoon, but we somehow managed to get seats upon arriving. A little cramped but not uncomfortable at least.

Mugwort basque $11 Doesn't really tastes like mugwort but it's a good cheesecake, with the butter crumble adding saltiness. Banana Brulee Brownie $13 Half sliced banana with torched sugar crust with brownie cubes drizzle with flowy salted cream. Very well done desserts altho the supposedly fudgy brownie was chilled. Portion was small for the price but the vibe is great. No extra tax charges too. Only thing I was slightly annoyed is that one couple just sat across the table like the place is a hawker centre.

If you’re looking for a cosy Korean-aesthetic cafe in Tanjong Pagar, Visitors Cafe is one to bookmark! With its clean white walls, warm wood, soft lighting and huge glass windows, the space has that effortless Seongsu-dong vibe. It’s airy, nicely lit and honestly such a pleasant place to spend a slow morning with coffee and brunch. There’s also alfresco seating that’s pet-friendly, so you can bring your furkid along! Visitors Cream Latte ($8) This is an iced-only black sesame dirty latte made with espresso and house-made black sesame cream. It was creamy and really well balanced. The espresso’s bitterness cut through the nuttiness of the black sesame nicely, while the sesame flavour was pronounced without being overly sweet. Definitely my favourite drink of the three! Matcha Latte ($7) This came with a really thick and creamy layer of matcha sitting on top of the milk. It looked gorgeous, although after mixing it in, I found the matcha flavour quite mild. If you prefer a more intense matcha kick, this might be too subtle. Ube Latte ($7) This was another creamy drink, blending premium purple yam with milk for a subtly sweet, earthy flavour. They use premium ube powder from South Korea. I liked how smooth and comforting this was without being overly sweet. Black Sesame Basque Cheesecake ($11) What I would return for! Rich, creamy and nutty, it had a smooth black sesame layer over the cheesecake that really amplified the earthy sesame flavour. Every bite was indulgent without being cloying. They also have a Mugwort Basque Cheesecake, which is pretty unique and not something you see often in Singapore! Visitors Cafe is on the smaller side, so expect queues during peak weekend hours. But if you love Korean-style cafes, this is a really lovely addition to the Tanjong Pagar cafe-hopping scene. Open daily from 8am to 10pm, so you can even swing by after dinner for dessert and coffee. Go for the vibes, stay for that black sesame cheesecake.

The coffee was so sour…. Ive tried their matcha before too but it was the worst one I have ever had in Singapore. And the worst part? The toilet. I’ve never seen any cafe establishment, especially in CBD not be able to flush toilet paper. Theres a bin in front, but it feels so unhygienic. The accoustics are a nightmare, its SO LOUD. Better off going to other cafes in the area tbh.

Simple minimalist cafe with lots of seating, both indoor and outdoor. Coffee was decent and the chicken salad sandwich was actually very filling. Overall not a bad spot to hang out at.

Started with their 𝐁𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝&𝐁𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 —crisp, and deceptively simple. The ultimate comfort food. And because I can never resist a unique specialty drink, I had to get the 𝐔𝐛𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞. It’s velvety, beautifully balanced, and not overwhelmingly sweet, which is exactly how I like it.

Black sesame latte & mugwort cake hit the spot. A cafe that satisfied my grandma taste buds 😋
