Steam Master 蒸师傅 @ One North Eden

Whack almost the whole menu. Steam Master eat already really steam. Ordered for New Year celebration. From 2025 full until 2026. Brought my own fishes to cook. Teochew, Assam and HK steam. Cooked to perfection. Don’t even get me started on the Assam and garlic prawns. Prawns were so fresh that the zup literally shoot out when you peel the shell. Better wear goggles when peeling the prawn. Horfun was great, 5 spice pork? Even better. The tofu was so soft, the mince meat pairs so well with it. Herbal chicken so soft and tender, the soup was full of herbs and flavour. Eat already you no steam also steam. Fried rice had good wok hei and the prawn paste chicken was well seasoned. The vegetables tasted like vegetables but more steam than outside vegetables. Sotong was not rubbery and the sambal was good. Write this review until I hungry again. 10/10 would eat again.

EDIT (2nd visit) Yummy, homely, comfort food. Ordered takeaway. Kids especially enjoyed the steamed egg and sliced pork rice! Missed an item initially but staff were apologetic and helpful when I went back to collect it. (1st visit) Wanted to try this new place in the neighbourhood but went in at 620pm or so and no one there to serve customers, called out a few times but no one came. Two other people were waiting around to order who had more patience than me. Oh well...

Visited Steam Master last night and the food was great! Especially the steamed fish and fried pork, which were standout dishes. Everything else we tried was good as well. It’s quite a hidden gem, but definitely worth finding.Will be bringing my family back to try more dishes. Strongly recommended!

Fish is very fresh, family friendly option, service is honestly good and fast. Very healthy good food in the quiet neighbourhood.

Had a really good meal at Steam Master! The food was yummy! The steamed red grouper was super fresh and cooked perfectly. And love that they serve classic Coke!! The place has good aircon and is wheelchair/stroller friendly. Prices are reasonable too. Honestly, I was surprised there wasn’t much of a crowd, because the food was so good. Overall, a solid and underrated spot. Will definitely return!
