Rico Rico (Clarke Quay)

Good place to chill and have happy hour!! They serve good and refreshing margaritas perfect for a lovely afternoon in the quay!

We had our team-building dinner here with a group of 23, and they managed to set up a long table for us comfortably. Everyone ordered a main and a drink, and we also shared some taco salad, wings, and beers. The total bill came up to around $1,300, which felt pretty reasonable for the group size. Service was great overall — staff handled our large group well, and the food came out quite quickly, which we appreciated. That said, while everything was decent, nothing really stood out to me personally. It was a good experience overall, but not somewhere I’d specifically come back to for the food.

Had a wonderful dining experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We especially enjoyed the tacos, nachos, churros and the happy hour drinks. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant had a great atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a meal with family and friends. We will definitely be back!

Lovely atmosphere and quick service, but the food was a disappointment. We had the Rico Platter and found it to be some of the most bland Mexican food we’ve had. The sauces lacked seasoning, the calamari were tasteless with a poor texture (no bite), and the tacos overall were very uninspired. The prawns, however, were well-prepared. The value for money wasn't there for me. I also find the practice of listing menu prices exclusive of service charge and GST to be lacking customer orientation. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience here.
