Lunch here was a pleasant surprise. The blue pea coconut rice was fragrant with just the right touch of savouriness. Between the two mains I tried, the Inchi Kabin chicken was the standout. Its well-seasoned, crispy exterior gave way to tender, juicy meat, making it the more memorable choice over the Assam barramundi. What truly elevated the meal, however, was the trio of sambals. The classic sambal, slow-cooked with gula melaka, offered a balanced sweetness and depth. The Balinese-inspired sambal matah was a refreshing contrast, combining raw shallots, lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves for a bright, aromatic bite with plenty of texture. My favourite was the sambal ijo, which delivered herbaceous notes, vibrant tanginess and a gentle heat from green chillies, chilli padi and green tomatoes. Will visit again to try other dishes like the kerabu bee hoon, Nyonya black curry rice and coconut kapitan chicken

Hidden spot near Shenton Way serving affordable Nyonya food with alfresco dining. We ordered the classic Berempah Set which comes with a large fried chicken thigh, your choice of rice - we opted for blue pea, but they have interesting options such as rice with Black Curry. Each set comes with two types of chili, achar and a sambal egg. The standout of this plate was definitely the fluffy blue pea rice which had a strong coconut fragrance. The chicken portion was large and well marinated but unfortunately mine was over-fried (as you can tell by the colour) with some areas ending up really tough. The portion size was really good for the price and location, but do note that they charge GST and service charge for dining in (or should I say out). I would love to return to try their other unique offerings such as the Ayam Buah Keluak.

Craving for Nyonya food and chance upon this shop! Ordered the chicken berempah set and it comes with a big piece of chicken, sambal lava egg, achar, sambal, sambal ijo, Ikan bilis & peanuts. You can choose what kind of rice you prefer and I chose the blue pea coconut rice. Loving the well-seasoned lemongrass chicken and the lava egg! The seatings are quite limited so come early! Satisfying quick takeaway meal from Nyonya Next Door! The trio sambals- Original, Matah & Ijo were all flavorful and paired perfectly with the food. Fresh and appetizing Achar. Blue pea rice portion was generous (can opt for less rice if preferred). The buah keluak chicken was tender and delicious. The "Lava" egg pairs perfectly with the sambal and makes the meal even better. Prices are affordable, esp for a spot near the CBD. Hope they continue to maintain the great quality and reasonable prices!

We ate this delicious nonya nasi lemak for lunch today. Truly extremely flavourful nasi lemak at another level than many nasi lemak eateries including those popular ones. The.cuatomer services is very patient, friendly and serve customers well It will be.our favourite eatery for nasi lemak. 😋💯👍

Tried this place for dinner (around 8 pm) and it took them some time to bring out my order. The portion was huge (honestly, kinda fair for its price - $10-15) and fried chicken was really crispy, tender and juicy. The chilli, however, tasted abit sour.. maybe its no longer fresh given the time i ate there. Would still recommend people to try ~
