I visited JAAN by Kirk Westaway for lunch in June, and it was a memorable fine dining experiences I’ve had in Singapore recently. The dining room feels elegant yet incredibly calming. The soft colour palette and overall ambience immediately put you at ease, creating the perfect setting to fully immerse yourself in the culinary journey. From the amuse-bouches to the dessert service, every course resonated with my palate. The presentation was refined without feeling overcomplicated, and each dish delivered clean, balanced flavours. I was particularly impressed by how thoughtfully caviar was incorporated into one of the amuse-bouches and one more dish. Considering the lunch price, it offered exceptional value. The service was equally outstanding. Chef Kirk Westaway himself was warm and genuinely interested in understanding his guests’ preferences. Everything flowed seamlessly throughout the meal, creating an experience that felt polished yet never overly formal. JAAN is, without question, one of my favourite restaurants in Singapore, and I look forward to returning again.

Celebrated my wife's birthday at JAAN, and the experience was exceptional from the first welcome to the final course. The menu was thoughtful and beautifully paced. The appetisers were a genuine surprise and the highlight of an already accomplished meal. Each dish was introduced with care, context without interrupting the experience. Isaac, Joseph, Bella, Fiona and Bruno were outstanding: warm, attentive and engaging throughout. They never rushed a course, and even took the time to help us capture the right moments. Meeting Chef Kirk was another lovely touch. He was generous with his time, genuinely warm in conversation, and signed our dated menu as a keepsake. JAAN delivers something memorable well beyond the food. Highly recommended for a special milestone or celebration.

Today, my family and I went to JAAN by Kirk Westaway, a long-established and top-tier Michelin-starred restaurant in Singapore with a fantastic atmosphere. It's a two-Michelin-starred British restaurant that truly embodies the pinnacle of British elegance. The entire tasting menu had a very comfortable pace. From the appetizers, each course was a delightful surprise. You can reserve caviar in advance; the nutty flavor was my favorite. The creative zucchini dish was refreshing, and the classic air-flown butter was smooth and melt-in-your-mouth, gently awakening the taste buds. The highlight of the meal was the two signature main courses. The wild sea bass was cooked to perfection, and the Kagoshima Wagyu beef was incredibly fragrant and tender, showcasing the high quality of the ingredients. A gin and tonic sorbet was perfect for cleansing the palate and balancing the richness of the dishes. For dessert, I loved the caramel pear for its refreshing sweetness and the hazelnut chocolate for its rich and creamy flavor, making for a perfect ending to the meal. They even thoughtfully provided a cake for my special occasion. They also gave us bread to take home after the meal. The restaurant boasts a sophisticated and comfortable dining atmosphere, with unparalleled views. Whether it's a romantic date or a holiday gathering, experiencing a refined high-altitude Western meal at JAAN is a truly wonderful experience.

I went to Jaan for my birthday in June, and Jaan is truly a dining experience to recommend. The atmosphere and service is perfect. The views are remarkable from the start, the restaurant is quiet enough for some conversation, the tables are placed far enough, and the interior gives it a calming vibe. The staff are always thinking for you. They always refill your cup, take care of the bread crumbs, and provide stories for the dish, which I couldn't 100 percent understand because I am not a native speaker🫢, but the waitress was always willing to repeat it for me. Everyone serving was warm and smiling which made the experience better. The food was amazing overall. I never knew lamb could taste like this, and hen's egg is a must try with the rich flavors mixed all together. Gin&Tonic was very refreshing and I really loved the butter provided by the restaurant.(They also give you some butter and bread to take!) The course was so full I couldn't even eat dinner till 10pm. The overall experience was phenomenal, totally worth a visit while in SG.

I had a fantastic dining experience at JAAN on 30 June. The vegetarian dishes were truly exceptional — beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The view from the restaurant is simply marvellous, offering what I believe is the best view of Singapore. One detail I especially loved was the way JAAN serves bread. Compared with other fine dining restaurants I’ve visited overseas, JAAN is remarkably generous, offering a wide variety and plenty of bread throughout the meal. It’s a thoughtful touch that makes the experience feel even more special. Overall, JAAN delivers an unforgettable fine dining experience with outstanding food, impeccable service, and breathtaking views. Highly recommended.

I especially want to commend the waiter's performance during the Cheese Trolley session; his explanations of the aging, texture, and unique characteristics of each cheese were incredibly precise and insightful, greatly benefiting my cheese-loving son. Coupled with elegant, attentive, and completely relaxed top-notch service, from the exquisite food to the professional hospitality, everything showcased the impeccable standards expected of a two-star restaurant. The entire menu was an incredible journey of flavors, with each course building upon the last in beautifully rich layers. A standout highlight was the cheese trolley experience; the server's spot-on explanation of the aging, texture, and unique characteristics of each cheese was a true treat, and my son, a huge cheese lover, learned so much from it. This, paired with service that was graceful, attentive, yet completely relaxed, made for a perfect evening. From the stunning food to the professional hospitality, they truly delivered the flawless high standard you'd expect from a two-star restaurant.
