The signature squid pho: The squid and shrimp were very fresh and delicious. It also included tempura-like fish flakes, wontons, and a hard-boiled egg – a generous and satisfying meal, served with a side of lettuce. The broth was refreshing; you can add your own citrus juice, chili, and other seasonings. Actually, I didn't like the slightly soft Vietnamese pho; I prefer a more springy texture. So, I finished all the ingredients and broth, leaving only the pho! I ate there around 3 PM, and there weren't many customers.

It is best to order the squid noodles dry so that the broth is served separately, allowing you to enjoy two different flavors. Drinking kumquat juice with them is also great because it completely eliminates the fishy taste and makes everything refreshing.

The middle range rating is simply because this is a small street food store. Great food and friendly staff. They have English menu. I came for brunch to avoid the morning and lunch crowd, ordered a squid and shrimp noodle with soup (55K VND). You may choose the dry version, and mix it with lots of condiments available, including, of course, fish source, chilli, oyster sauce, soy sauce, etc. The soup is typical Vietnamese base. The shrimp is big with a small squid. The noodle came with a couple of quail eggs and pork as well. The portion is a bit small but fine for me. I have also ordered yuzu tea (15K VND). A bit too sweet for me. I prefer this place than other street food stores or stalls because this is cleaner. More importantly, it was well lit. I ended up paying 70K VND. Fair price.

Personally, I have eaten Hu Tieu Nam Bang and Hu Tieu Muoc so many times in Ho Chi Minh City. I love Hu Tieu so much that I even travel to Nha Trang and Da Lat just to visit a Hu Tieu restaurant. However, I am really curious how many times those people in the reviews below who said it was delicious have actually eaten at this place... I ordered the Special, but the moment I took a spoonful of the broth... I was at a loss (How am I supposed to eat all of this?). It had neither the umami flavor characteristic of Hu Tieu Nam Bang (Cambodian Phnom Penh style) nor the refreshing squid soup taste unique to Hu Tieu Muoc; it was just bland and tasteless... When I ate the meatball topping, there was a slight porky smell... I ate the dumplings again... What is this? Are these bland dumplings??? Even after tasting the broth again, it tastes like I can't tell what's what... It's a total disaster... I've traveled through many countries and cities in Southeast Asia and tried a lot of food, but this is exactly the second time I've left food unfinished... Who on earth do the people who recommend this have such bad taste buds... Mwahahahahahaha~~~ I guess taste really is hit or miss. Or maybe you should try it too? (Hu Tieu Special = 70,000 VND)

Once and never again. We had to ask three times before the staff brought out the plate of raw vegetables. When we asked a second time, they took it to another table, I don't understand why. The shrimp were not deveined; I don't know how they prepared them.

A fairly familiar squid noodle soup stall in the Le Hong Phong area, suitable for breakfast or a quick meal during the day. The broth is sweet and savory, with a balanced flavor, not too strong. The toppings, including squid, shrimp, meat, and various types of fish cakes, are quite generous; the fresh, crispy squid is a plus. The noodles are soft and easy to eat, and the portions are generally filling. The space is clean, and service is fast, even during busy times. The prices are reasonable considering the quality and location. However, the flavor isn't significantly different from other squid noodle soup stalls, so for me, a consistently good and delicious place is already excellent. ⭐ Rating: 4/5 ✔️ Sweet and savory broth, generous toppings ✔️ Fresh squid, fast service ✔️ Reasonable price ➖ Flavor isn't outstanding compared to the average

Very nice seafood noodle restaurant with strong and delicious flavors. The price was very reasonable for the quality and portion size. The restaurant was not too busy, so it felt comfortable and relaxing while eating. The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I really liked the noodles — they were cooked well and had a great texture. The seafood sauce was especially tasty and went perfectly with the squid. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes seafood or seafood noodles. It’s a great spot for a satisfying meal with good service and fair prices.

The restaurant is easy to find, exactly as shown on Google Maps. There are many tourists along the way, making it easily accessible and crowded. The restaurant space is small, compact, and clean. The tables and chairs are high, and the eating utensils are good. Food: Fresh squid, well-prepared (depending on taste), with other dishes for customers to choose from. Drinks: A wide variety of drinks are available. Prices: Good.
