Din Tai Fung (The Seletar Mall)

Din Tai Fung is a of the top restaurant in Singapore famous for their food standards and services. This is the x trip I was there. There is a nice ambience and it is a place where I will treat my mentor. Perhaps it was a busy evening, the standards fall shorts. The table next to my and mine (25-2) are getting missing orders. However the treatment are slightly different. The other got a complementary compensation order for their missing items. We got a make up for our missing order. We ordered a 10 pcs 素菜蒸饺 but we only served 6 pcs. We have to wait a little longer to get our 4 pcs of vegetarian dumpling as the evening crowd streams in. And yes, the atmosphere ready changed when you eat the dumplings at time lapsed. Perhaps, the vegetarian dumplings are limited or expensive as compare to their prized xiao long bao. Meat dishes can be compensated not vegetarian dishes. Nevertheless, it is a norm since day 1 being a vegetarian, eating out is always more expensive for vegetarian and all 99.9% restaurants presume lady eat vegetarian and guy eat meat. I don't travel widely, but the egg fried rice in KL Din Tai Fung has been the best ever served. For the membership, there are no real benefits unless you frequent Din Tai Fung or their other chains.

Have lunch here a few times because it's not too far from my office, always top notch service from staff. Sometimes it's crowded everywhere during lunch hour so we splurge for a expensive restaurant. Food quality is always consistent. One of the best xiao long baos in Singapore, although personally I prefer their shrimp & pork dumplings. For appetizer the duck in spring onion pastry and pork with crushed garlic (served cold) is definitely worth ordering. For desserts we try chocolate xlb for the first time, I really like it but my colleague think it's meh, still I think it's worth trying. Overall this is one of my favorite restaurants.

Simple and comforting dinner at Din Tai Fung — one of our go-to places whenever we’re craving their egg fried rice. We especially love the boneless drunken chicken, prawn pancake, and stewed beancurd cubes. Consistently satisfying!

We always go & eat Din Tai Fung different outlets .Highly recommended for dim sums 🥟. Xiao Long Bao and pork chop fried rice. Chicken 🍗 soup so tasty & so soft. Prawn dumplings & pau also nice. Normally we visited Orchard ,Seletar Mall, Plaza Sing & vavocity. Staffs are helpful & friendly.

Ordered a fried rice with pork chop, noodles with vegetable and pork wanton, and 6pc Xiao long bao to share with my 2 daughters. The food was consistent with other outlets, but it wasn't as filling as I thought. Total came up to about $43. Service and ambience are also consistent with other outlets.

Had a really positive experience at Din Tai Fung recently, especially thanks to James during checkout. We had mistakenly thought we were entitled to a discount with a card, but it turned out it wasn’t applicable. Even though it could have been a slightly awkward moment, James handled everything with a lot of patience and kindness. He took the time to explain it clearly, didn’t rush us at all, and made the whole payment process feel completely stress-free. It’s rare to come across service staff who stay so calm and respectful in situations like this, and it genuinely made a difference to our overall dining experience.

No matter which Din Tai Fung are you in, there’s always the same quality food standards.

Went out for lunch and less queue than usual. Waiting time for food is about 10-15minutes. Delicious food as always. Staffs are approachable and friendly.
