Bruno's Bistrot

10min walk to another neighbourhood fixture, Bruno’s bistro. Had their entrecôte with bearnaise and fries for 22++. Very tasty. About 4 different red wines by the glass on the menu. Hope to see some new by the glass offerings rotated through soon, as we’ve been back so often that we’ve exhausted that list by now. Definitely recommended.

Great place with slurpicious pizza. Highly recommend for purata cheese piazza. There also great choices by chef and worth for weekend dinner. The prices of the dishes are reasonable and not hard to understand why the resident come here for family gathering .

Very nice bruschetta. The bread was toasted perfectly, crispy on the outside and soft inside. The tomatoes olive oil topping was so fragrant and delicious. The lagsane and carbonara was very good also.

Never again! If you're hungry, please don't come. We canceled some of our food because we waited for an hour just for a small amount of food. We ordered a salad but it took forever—like, no! Forty-five minutes just for a salad! And then it took even longer for the next course🤦🏽‍♀️. The pizza is terrible, and so terrible. I really want to leave and go to another restaurant, but my feet hurt, so I stay. Still, this is the worst restaurant I've ever been to!

Quite sure there was a change in management and staff here. The food is not quite the same as it used to be, standards dropped quite drastically and food took way longer to be served. The new owners/management have some pretty big shoes to fill and unfortunately it’s falling short. We had the Valentine’s course meal and were surprised that the dishes were bigger in portion but shared rather than a portion for each person. Prosecco was not chilled enough, mushroom soup and prawns were too salty while steak was medium-well when we asked for medium rare. Lava cake was quite sad too. Can get a better one from a certain pizza place. The food used to be so good for the price now we can definitely get way better elsewhere for the same. We shared our feedback and were offered a discount for our next visit but I could tell we weren’t the only ones disappointed with the changes.
