It’s a very shakey 4 that drifts toward 3. First of all, being No.1 cocktail bar in Singapore is a big responsibility. And for me, the quality of the cocktails doesn’t stand the level of appraisal. First cocktail that I took was nothing like the expected off the menu. Perhaps I never tried sling, but it was extremely underwhelming. But good on the team, they offered the change as I questioned if it’s the one or not. Peanut Alexander was rather nice, but the salty part was completely missing. Spirit body was not fully mixed, it separated towards the bottom of the cocktail. For such a drink without ice it’s weird. It didn’t taste “special” because of above the factors. Some of the team were really great, but one of the servers didn’t even know the espresso martini name and couldn’t recommend anything. Please inform if it’s trainee in charge. Otherwise such staff are evaluated same as the main team and give a bad impression. Atmosphere is nice, Gatsby’s after party kind of thing. Well assembled space and interior. But overall it doesn’t make an impression of single best bar in whole Singapore for me. After Native, not at all. Crown is always a burden to carry, good luck!

Visited Jigger & Pony and ordered a yuzu-based sour cocktail. The drink was exceptionally well balanced. The acidity and sweetness were perfectly calibrated, creating a refreshing yet elegant cocktail. The yuzu brought a bright citrus aroma that made the drink feel clean and refined. I also tried a watermelon mojito, which was a great way to finish the evening. It was not overly sweet and had a light, refreshing character that made it very easy to drink. The staff were attentive and efficient, and they explained the drinks clearly and professionally. The bar itself has a well-crafted atmosphere and a strong sense of identity. It’s easy to see why this place is so highly regarded.

This was the first cocktail bar that we went to when we arrived in Singapore. As of today it was ranked top #3 bar on Asia’s 50 Best Cocktail bars so we wanted to see if it lived up to the hype. We started off with the classic Dry Martini and a Yuzu Whisky Sour. Below are our personal reviews of the drinks. When we walked in there was dance club music playing throughout the bar. We enjoy sitting at the bar and watching the bartenders prepare the drinks. The bartenders serving us were Khai and Ice. They were really attentive even on a pretty busy night. Overall we thought the drinks were really well balanced and the atmosphere had a club vibe inside. We will come back again next time we visit Singapore. Dry Martini Rating: 5/5 -clean refreshing taste almost like drinking water with a subtle lemon taste -balanced with a perfect dryness -best martini I have ever had …I’ve had a lot Yuzu Whisky Sour Rating: 4.8/5 -the subtleness of the yuzu compliments the flavor very well -slight elderflower taste in the middle of drinking is very floral -egg whites give the drink a nice creamy mouth feel -can drink 3 or 4 of these in a single night Negroni Rating: 5/5 -Campari and Gin incorporates really well for a twist on the regular classic -Benedictine and Orange bitters balance each other really nicely to round out the drink -Ordered two of these and we never repeat a drink Manhattan Rating: 4.5/5 -heavily spirited forward -sweeter than we typically like but very classic style -solid cherry and chocolate combo cocktail -we usually don’t fancy a Manhattan but was worth a try if you like this style of cocktail Espresso Martini Rating: 4.8/5 -presentation of the Toulle on top is what sets this drink apart from other Espresso Martinis there is some nuts in here for those allergic let them know ahead of time -Local Coffee used has a strong bold flavor -Chocolate balances the coffee flavor really well -very creamy and silky mouthfeel Champagne Ramos Gin Fizz Rating: 4.5/5 -nice twist on a classic Ramos Gin Fizz -

A fantastic bar with truly outstanding drinks. The cocktail menu is creative and well thought out, with each drink beautifully balanced and expertly executed. You can really taste the quality of the spirits and the care that goes into every component, from the house-made infusions to the precise flavour pairings. Nothing felt overly sweet or gimmicky—just clean, confident cocktails done right. Presentation was on point as well, with each drink served thoughtfully and with attention to detail, adding to the overall experience. Whether you’re into classic cocktails or more inventive creations, there’s something here that will impress. The atmosphere complements the drinks perfectly, and the bar does get busy, especially on weekends, so reservations are highly recommended. A must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates well-crafted cocktails.

The busiest psuedo-hotel bar we've likely ever visited and of course for good reason. The play is definitely to try and get yourself onto a bar seat, getting to watch the drinks build up from the front row seat. The place is massive and lots of varied seating but nothing beats the bar. Try some of the quirkier cocktails if you can. Ugly Tomato, Basil Smash, Peanut Alexander, Banana Boulevard and Red Revival all meet the mark. Classics with reinvention to order are the Espresso Martini, Ramos Fizz and Sings Sling. The fizz particularly is a tall stacking of flavours. Basil and Tomato both riff on the vegetables combined in an ingenious enjoyable set of surprising cocktails. The bar moves fast and does interesting stuff, ask questions and get an inside look into the magic.

Stopped by for nightcaps with a friend while visiting Singapore. We made an RSVP two days in advance with a deposit of around $50 and were assigned a high table for two at 9 PM. The space felt cozy and intimate, and it wasn’t overly crowded. We only waited about 10 minutes before being escorted to our table. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when recommending drinks. We ordered one of their best-selling cocktails (can’t recall the name, but it’s in the photo), and it was excellent. As a speakeasy-style bar, the atmosphere is perfect for conversation—no need to shout, just relaxed and comfortable. A great spot for a starter sip or a chilled night out. I’ll definitely be back on another visit.

We went as a group of 6 and everyone was happy with their drinks. Managed to try the pear & tonic and the godfather during happy hour, then we also tried the espresso martini, the yuzu whisky sour, the smashing sundae, champagne ramos gin fizz, ugly tomato and the peanut alexander. All of the drinks were really good and we were happy with all of them but the standouts to me were the smashing sundae (i liked it so much I ordered two), ugly tomato and the espresso martini! The service is also amazing, I accidentally broke two glasses (dropped one onto the other) and the staff were very kind and patient 🥺 The drinks were remade promptly and they tried to cheer me up and reassure me that it was fine. Thank you so much for your patience and kindness >< We also arrived on an empty stomach and wasn't sure what to expect from the food but we ordered the spiced hummus, black pepper crab dip with toast and the honey pork sausage and mash. Definitely not a substitute for a proper dinner because of the portion but all of them were delicious! Both the snacks and drinks have been hits for our group! Already thinking of revisiting 🤤

loved the ambience! very friendly staff with good service. they also provide blankets if you feel cold. cocktails were strong and interesting in terms of flavour profile. personally feel that the drinks at BOP was better but still generally a great bar that i will revisit. VERY popular though, so make sure to make a reservation if not you will most likely not be able to enter...
