Food Republic

On July 29, 2026, I visited the food court for dinner and ordered the beef from Pepper Grill. The presentation was unappetising. The beef on the hot plate looked nothing like the picture; it was all messed up, and the sauce was so starchy that it made the hot plate look like a lump of starch. The taste was equally disappointing. The beef was chewy and couldn’t be bitten off. To make matters worse, the food court was dirty. There were dirt marks on the floor and flies everywhere. The ceiling was also leaking water, which made me wonder if I was back in the 1950s. It was a terrible place. A complete disgrace to our UNESCO Intangible Cultural List.

Hard to find seats during peak hours Their economic rice stall taste really good just that not hot, served cold for dishes and for the chicken meats most of the you will see blood which you tend to skip it. Other dishes taste nice, only thing is if they can served hot dishes and chicken meat drumstick to make it cooked perfectly. Other stalls taste nice too chicken rice, fish ball noodles, only thing is expensive best to download their apps to have further discount.

Extremely disappointed with my $18 hokkien mee experience here. While they tout using Iberico pork to justify the premium pricing, the execution was terrible. The prawns were undercooked - completely unacceptable for seafood at any price point, let alone $18. The noodles were also undercooked and the overall dish fell far short of what you'd expect. To make matters worse, I ordered takeaway but they served it on a plate. When I asked for a takeaway box as originally requested, they had the audacity to charge me an additional 50 cents. After already paying $18 for subpar food, nickel-and-diming customers over a takeaway container is just poor form. The wait time was also excessive, which made the disappointing result even more frustrating. Using premium ingredients means nothing if you can't cook them properly. The prawns alone were reason enough not to return, but coupled with the undercooked noodles and the petty charges, this was one of the worst dining experiences I've had. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Ordered this noodle . has told the cashier I wanted less chili but the one who prepared sounded unhappily as to why I never mentioned it. certainly it's the system and internal communication issue. And worst, toik away 10% of my noolde when he spotted a chunk of noodle lumped together without replacement.

❌Not recommended to dine after 8:30PM Always dined here during lunch and we loved the Chinese stall selling grilled fish and chicken pot, the Pepper Grill stall selling tenpanyaki, the Prawn noodle stall etc. Today is the first time we came after we finish our work at 8pm+ nearby. We were finishing our food and there were also a few diners around but somehow auntie decided to whine for a minute or so, that she needed to clear finish and go home. I'm not sure if she was the one switched off the lights but at 8:54pm, the lights were specifically switched off at our area. Luckily we were finishing the last bite. Nonetheless, the food there are amazing but maybe just don't dine there near closing

Got a variety of food to chose from The can jiak shop is the fish soup and fishball noodle shop Came at sunday for lunch The aircon like not strong- ear and swest at the same time (might be due to people going in as i seat near the side entrance)

Excellent place to get together, large seating tables with wide food choices. Many other food malls/ outlets nearby. Walking distance from tai seng mrt stn. Let's go food shopping experience !
