This is probably the best Teochew noodles for me locally . I always been coming here since Covid time till now . Jean and her father never disappoint me on the food. The right amount of vinegar , right texture of the noddles and the all the ingredients are very good. I particularly will ask more pork lard to be added for the extra flavor. Overall after tons of visit I still love this place. Trust me and make the trip here , you will be seeing yourself coming for more .

Arriving at 9 AM, the place was almost full. Although the wait for noodles is usually quite long (about 45 minutes), it's definitely worth the patience to relax in the quiet shop, sipping coffee and slowly waiting for your food. The shrimp rolls were delicious and highly recommended! June 13, 2026: Visited again around 11 AM this morning. Probably because of the school holidays, there were fewer people, and it was very hot; many people were using their own fans 😂. Luckily, the wait was only about 20 minutes this time. I enjoyed my meal while sweating and left quickly. The food quality remained the same, still delicious.

Ah Hua Teochew Fishball Noodles is one of those places where the moment you take your first bite, you understand why people keep coming back. The noodles have that perfect spring and bite, tossed in a sauce that is savoury, a little spicy, and just addictively well balanced. The fishballs are clearly handmade, light and bouncy without that artificial chew, and the fish dumplings have a lovely depth of flavour that feels so old school and comforting. Tho the long wait its actually worth the wait promise! What I love most is how each bowl tastes like time and effort went into it. Nothing fancy, nothing trying too hard, just solid honest noodles done extremely well. The line may be long during peak hours but it actually adds to the charm. You watch the uncle work with focus, and the wait becomes part of the experience. If you find yourself in the area, this is the type of stall you make a detour for. A proper taste of Teochew tradition

I think the food is slight above average. But the wait is too long. I made a mistake of walking around the neighbour before ordering as the shop was not crowded at 11ish. Upon ordering the person said need to wait for 20 mins for takeaways lol. Ended up I waited for 30 mins. I did not notice the price of the items but my mi tai mak fish ball noodles with abalone + 1 pack of prawn rolls cost me $18.80 which i think is quite expensive.

The service at this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I honestly don't understand what I did wrong to deserve such an unfriendly attitude. Why treat customers that way? I had been looking forward to visiting this place after reading so many positive reviews. I even made a special trip during my travels just to dine here. Unfortunately, what I received in return was a very rude and arrogant attitude from the owner. The food looks good, but customer service is equally important. This experience completely ruined my impression of the restaurant, and I will not be coming back.

Food was so so only. I mean two fish ball noodles on a normal weekday afternoon need 50mins to cook. Too overrated. Don’t come here eat if you don’t have time to wait.

Love the soup and their prawn paste ball also taste great! Friendly daughter of the boss gave gifts to my friend’s child to play. Pet friendly too as saw several customers bringing their dogs along to eat.
