Ah Hua Teochew Fishball Noodle

Bottomline up front. Would I come again? Maybe at the different time to see if I can beat the queues. Fishballs were above average. Soup 50/50. Quality and quantity of a $6 bowl fair value in spite of the price so it means above average. Came at 11 am on a weekday and the wait was 45 min for a bowl of noodles ($6) and a serving of prawn rolls($10) with an iced coffee ($1.80 and took 20 min to be ready). Cramped and hot with limited seating. So a lot to overlook for an above average bowl of Fishball Noodles.

Ordered 2 bowls fishball noodles and 1 prawn roll. Total was 22. There were fishballs, meatballs and prawnballs. All were delicious and i find the price on the higher end as serving was quite small. Place is hot and i ended up in sweat at the end of my meal

These noodle is soft, smooth, and springy, with a pleasant texture that makes it enjoyable to eat.

Tried the $6 fishball noodles at Ah Hua Teochew Fishball Noodles in Pandan Gardens. The noodle portion felt a little small for my appetite, but the amount of fishballs and prawn balls was generous and satisfying. The fishballs were springy and fresh, while the prawn balls were tasty with a nice bite. Overall, it was an enjoyable meal with good quality ingredients. If the noodle portion was slightly bigger, it would be even better. Still, I would be happy to come back again!

This owner is a complete liar. She said ; “ I approached her staff in a rude and unpleasant manner before returning to my seat and THROWING our order buzzer. Then less than FIVE minutes later, i approached her AGAIN while she was still cooking and clearing outstanding orders.” She must have been so busy and totally confused me with someone else. I only went once to find from her out why it is more than an hour since I placed the order. And I had no order buzzer with me as I came out from the toilet and decided there and then to check on my order. And I certainly did not speak to her staff again. Why should I since I went to her directly ? Now If she has any credible evidence of what she said i am prepared to go to court to defend what I said. If she doesn’t have, please don’t incriminate and dig a deeper hole for yourself than you have already done. She also said I have made bad reviews of other hawker stalls. Hello? Again she must have been hallucinating. And even if it were true what had it got to do with your terrible customer service ? Don’t divert from the subject please. Now I have waited one hour and eighteen minutes for my food to arrive. And I could hear the other customers around my table cursing at the long wait. One gentlemen even said he waited for one and half hours. Maybe she had confused me with this man lol. Bottom line is that this owner is an extremely rude, condescending, lying and impatient individual! And to all customers please do not take me for my word. Go experience it yourself ! You will know what bad service really means after that. Good luck !! ——————— Was told it will take half an hour for food. It is still more than one hour and I am still waiting now together with many other customers.When I asked the young lady preparing in the kitchen, she rudely waved me to sit down and in a very loud and aggressive tone replied they were busy. A terrible customer experience and I will not recommend to anyone to patronize this place with such rude and inefficient service.

Love the soup and the fishballs are soft and fresh. Can tell they are hand made. If you are in the area, be sure to check this place out , the wait time can be a bit long though - so be prepared to wait . You won’t regret it

Arriving at 9 AM, the place was almost full. Although the wait for noodles is usually quite long (about 45 minutes), it's definitely worth the patience to relax in the quiet shop, sipping coffee and slowly waiting for your food. The shrimp rolls were delicious and highly recommended! June 13, 2026: Visited again around 11 AM this morning. Probably because of the school holidays, there were fewer people, and it was very hot; many people were using their own fans 😂. Luckily, the wait was only about 20 minutes this time. I enjoyed my meal while sweating and left quickly. The food quality remained the same, still delicious.

Ah Hua Teochew Fishball Noodles is one of those places where the moment you take your first bite, you understand why people keep coming back. The noodles have that perfect spring and bite, tossed in a sauce that is savoury, a little spicy, and just addictively well balanced. The fishballs are clearly handmade, light and bouncy without that artificial chew, and the fish dumplings have a lovely depth of flavour that feels so old school and comforting. Tho the long wait its actually worth the wait promise! What I love most is how each bowl tastes like time and effort went into it. Nothing fancy, nothing trying too hard, just solid honest noodles done extremely well. The line may be long during peak hours but it actually adds to the charm.
