Returned for another visit after seeing the consistently long queue and decided it was worth the wait. The noodles have a nostalgic old-school taste with a nice springy texture, and the fishballs were enjoyable too. Portions are on the smaller side, so you may want to order a larger serving if you're looking for a more filling meal.

陈炯江’s favourite fish ball noodles anyone? He is a mediacorp artiste liked by many. I chanced upon this stall since the original stall at west coast hawker is closed. I saw many different photos of him with probably the son of the stall owner. Since so many articles and celebrities liked the food, should be nice right? 1st bite to the noodles, hmm ok taste like the old 1990s taste of bcm, not too overpowering, lightly seasoned. The good thing about this stall is the self made fishball. It is really something to try, especially when most of the places already changed to factory style fishball for their noodles. The fish cake is also nice. One thing about the food which i feel can be better maybe is the sauce, can give abit more so it will suit the taste bud of those who like their food to taste stronger. Soon Lee Fishball Noodle at West Coast Market is a longstanding favorite among locals, known for its traditional Teochew-style fishball noodles that deliver on both taste and value. Operating from a humble hawker stall, it has quietly built a loyal following over the years thanks to its consistent quality and generous portions. Dropped by for lunch and had the dry fishball noodles ($3.50) — springy noodles paired with soft, bouncy handmade fishballs. The queue took about 10 minutes, but it was worth the wait. A comforting, satisfying bowl that hits all the right notes. Solid 4 out of 5.

Value for money and lots of crisp lard bits in the dry noodles version. Loved the fishballs. Mine was the large bowl.

Old-school style fish ball noodles. I ordered the mee kia with extra chilli sauce, the noodles were wonderfully springy, and the chilli sauce was excellent. Even though I went on a weekday, there was still a long queue and I had to wait about 20-30 minutes. But no regrets, I’ll definitely patronize the stall again.

1230 on a Wednesday. No Q. Next door FBnoodle stall had a line of 6. Unpretentious bowl of BCM. added $1 fishballs. Al dente noodles. Bowl was rather wet with chili sauce. But unexpected pleasure from the taste. A little sweet but taste was 5/5. 4stars cos reticent when I asked for more chili padi. Definitely worth a visit
