So glad to have this place near home. I went here 3 times to try 3 different flavours of their baguette for lunch, and none of them failed. Every time I reached my last bite, I felt sad as I really enjoyed eating it. These are the flavours I tried & Truffle Mushroom is the winner so far. XD 1. Truffle Mushroom 2. Mentaiko Potato 3. Garlic Regardless they all tasted amazing! Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. Perfect if you prefer the savoury kind. I tried their coffee, too. It's so nice! The downside is only that they don't have comfortable area to sit & chit-chat as the area provided is just too small. I will definitely return to try their other menu! Please last long!

blob is a neighbourhood bakery that’s been popping up all over Instagram, so I was excited to finally try it. They’re especially known for their salt breads, savoury baguettes, and matcha drinks using Niko Neko. I visited on a Sunday morning expecting a crowd, but it was surprisingly quiet and there were still plenty of bakes available. The Crab Rangoon Salt Bread ($5.40) definitely lived up to the hype. The bread was crisp on the outside and filled with a creamy, savoury crab rangoon filling that was super satisfying. I also liked the added crunch from the breadcrumbs on top. Their version is slightly denser than the usual salt bread, which makes it more filling. The disposable gloves provided are a nice touch :) We also tried the Canele ($3.80) which had a nicely caramelised crust and soft, custardy centre with a distinct vanilla flavour. The smooth Iced White ($6.50) complements the pastries well. 📸 For more food reviews, check out @hangry.potatoo on instagram.

Quaint little spot, deep inside a the neighbourhood. Service was very patient and accommodating, atmosphere inside was nice, albeit it lacked seating and the outside seating was abit dirty, the staff was prompt and quickly cleaned it up. Ordered the truffle mushroom baguette and matcha, my goodness it was so good. One of the best baked goods I’ve tried in Singapore. Will want to come here again!

The baked goods are really good, with my favourites being the truffle mushroom baguette and the crab rangoon salt bread. The truffle mushroom baguette was fragrant and flavourful without being too overpowering while the crab rangoon was creamy and savory which went well with the salted bread. Their drinks are really good, the matcha and mocha were full bodied and rich. While slightly pricey, they were a nice refreshing drink to have with the food. Do note there’s minimal seating outside the place and it’s mainly a takeaway place. A very nice bakery with delicious baked goods and great drinks, looking forward to returning sometime soon!

really enjoyed my visit here and they accept cdc! all the bakes were so fresh and heated up upon our purchase. i also liked the design of the shop's mascot and the lovely interior. we got the serrano pepper eggplant ciabatta and the mentaiko baguette!! the flavours of both were nice and balanced, and the breads were so fluffy and crisp on the outside. they serve niko neko drinks! i had an akane hojicha - i think you can never go wrong with the dark roast tbh HAHAH. would def visit again!! they gave gloves also which was very thoughtful for our dining experience. seating is very limited though!!

A lovely little neighbourhood bakery tucked away in Tiong Bahru’s heartland area, and definitely worth a visit if you enjoy good quality breads and pastries. We had heard that their garlic baguette and truffle baguette tend to sell out quickly, so we were glad to arrive in time to get them. Both were excellent, fragrant, well-balanced in flavour, and freshly baked with a nice crust and soft interior. The portions were also quite generous; one baguette was easily enough to share among the three of us, making it very good value for money. We also tried the crab Rangoon salt bread, which were crispy on the outside while remaining light and fluffy inside. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared without feeling overly heavy. Overall, this place feels like a true local gem. Simple, unpretentious, and focused on doing a few items really well. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, and it’s the kind of bakery we would happily return to on future trips to Singapore.

🟩blob ( cafe / bakery) Block 129, Kim Tian Road # 01-135, Singapore 160129 🟢 Location = 🟢 Blob bakery is situated at the foot of a HDB block. This Kim Tian Road area is just minutes away from the vintage Tiong Bahru estate. 🔵 Decor / Merchandise ************************** 🔵 The interior decor of the cafe, Blob bakery, is minimalist and modern, featuring cream hue light-coloured walls, polished concrete flooring, simple wooden stools, and black shelving accents. 🔵 The space has a clean, uncluttered aesthetic with a prominent glass display counter and a large window allowing natural light to stream in. 🟨 Beverage = Hot Cafe Latte at SGD5.50. _______________________________________ 🟨 I asked for a Hot Cafe Latte for takeaway ( single espresso shot as always). ⚫️ The cafe latte profile was smooth, creamy and easy to drink ----- with just a slight hint of nuttiness and bitterness. 🟡They had sandwiches on sale when I was there. There were salt bread, ciabatta, baguette and pretzels on display. All these are breads stuffed with various types of fillings. 🟡 Prices range from SGD4 to SGD7.80. Very reasonable prices for quality gourmet breads and sandwiches. 🟣 Service = 🟣 There was a lady staff member there. I presumed she was the owner. She was friendly, cheerful and pleasant in her demeanour. 🔸️ 21st Feb 2026 / Sat/ CNY 5th day 初五
