Menu is hokkien mee and carrot cake. A friend asked to eat there for dinner and I saw their social media, but when we went we were confused because we didn’t realize it’s really in the heart of an industrial area 🤣 But wow it is WORTH it…. So flavorful and the prawns are so juicy. You can tell the owner takes a lot of pride in cooking authentic halal hokkien mee. Going to bring my parents here to try too it’s really worth a visit ESPECIALLY if you stay in the north

My sis googled search of Halal Fried Hokkien Mee and Ohdang popped up based on vicinity in the north. Was originally thinking if the stall only serves lunch crowd due to it's location but surprisingly we still managed to catch the wok aroma of the noodles at nearly closing hours. Both of us were lucky enough to grab the last portions of the mee and the 3 good friends aka brothers from Ohdang were generous with our servings. Though squid were out of stock by the time but we got extra fresh prawns replaced. Love the wok aroma of the noodles with fresh ingredients used, the onsen-cooked egg on top and the sauce was just at the right amount; not forgetting the chilli and lime accompanied. Also realized the stall not just served Hokkein Mee but fried carrot cake as well. So take note on their written menu for this item. Will definitely drop by again to salvage the mee and try the carrot cake too!

Came down for the second time . Honestly the food quality was bad . The wok was so dirty that u can see the black particle all over at the hokkien me. No egg like the previous time we had. Service was horrible . There was a guy who waited an hour for a takeaway and was rudely treated by the staff . Will not come here again.

Ordered a takeaway and was told waiting time of 30-40mins which I am fine. But eventually, have to wait for an hour. There’s 4 person mending the stall but not sure why service was very slow. Best part is, a family of 5 that came later was served instantly. They started eating like 10min upon ordering while I have wait for an hour for a takeaway. Hawker wasn’t even crowded as most of the other stalls closed. Brought back food home to eat and the hokkien mee was burnt. Really not Wokhey taste, simply burnt, egg was definitely charred and burnt. Another issue, owner/chef used bamboo whisk to clean wok with lack of care where water splashed into another cooking wok and they don’t seem bothered anyway. Really don’t like to give bad review but hope they can improve on this. Just wanted to support since the last best halal hokkien mee at Toa Payoh has closed down. But left with disappointment.

We visited the venue for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the distinctive wokhey flavor of the noodles. The dish had a strong character that we enjoyed, though we felt the sambal could benefit from a slightly spicier profile to elevate the overall experience. With that adjustment, the meal would have been exceptional, earning a perfect score.

Honestly I'm not a fan of Hokkien Mee but after trying out this one at Ohdang Marsiling, it awesome and I love it so much. All the staff are very polite and friendly even though I can see they look very tired as we are there at 3pm plus. Kudos to the owner for having such a good team and hope to see Ohdang grow bigger...

A excellent plate of Hokkien Mee. I used to frequent De*** Kitchen but their quality is so inconsistent that I stopped altogether. The umami, flavours of the saucy broth and the noodle is too good! Egg is such a happy add on to the otherwise perfect plate. Thank you!

Tried the Hokkien mee late last night, close to closing time, and they absolutely accommodated. Hokkien mee was flavourful, lots of wok hei, prawns and sotong were super fresh booted with pedas sambal. I didn’t even miss the pork lards as the broth base had a lot of depth. The onsen egg which is a riff off the Moonlight Horfun gives the noodles a silkier texture. Really good. Ohdang indeed.
