OK Chicken Rice & Humfull Laksa (Marsiling)

This stall chicken rice is too high priced, wanted to pack home for dinner and the pax charge me for $10.30. He say bcos i wan thigh, so cost additional $3.50. Think you guys better go survey around, chicken rice at hawker is just $3 - $3.50 depend on what part we want. $10.30 per pack chicken rice, I just top up another $5.70 and I can get half chicken at Blk 304 Woodlands Coffeeshop. You think your chicken rice is make of gold or comes with shark fins/abalone. With this kind of price, think very fast you will closed down. I will boycott you alert all my colleagues or friends do not fall into such price scam. In the end I told them I just wan a very normal chicken rice which also cost me 6.80. I got no choice as that is pack for someone, not for myself.

Have a mixed feeling to write this review. Chicken and rice are good. Price is on the higher side, whole chicken for $40, comparable with Boon Tong Kee (BTK) whole white boiled chicken at $38 (before GST). Paid $20 for half chicken. Packagings are good too. Tried to ask for 2-3 packs more chilli, but staff said need to pay 10 cent per pack. Not much money indeed, but bit annoyed as BTK doesn’t charge for extra chilli. Staff said boss instructed to charge for chilli. After reaching office, surprised to find out that plastic spoons not given, I didn’t notice plastic spoons too near the utensils there when I took few chilli sauce small plastic plate. Fortunately I still have some disposable plastic spoons in office.

We started with the truffle fries—perfectly crispy—and I had the sea bass for my main, which was cooked flawlessly. Our server, Maya, was attentive and offered great wine pairings. A bit pricey, but worth every penny for the quality. Will definitely be back!"

The noodles more like tomato sauce and the char siew like 1 and half table spoon, no vegetables and no sambal and 2 cute small wanton. The Laksa awesome love the gravy generous kerang. Chicken rice i order steam drum stick add on roaster chicken . It came individually and cashier never repeat my order so I confident la. Haiz the cucumber pls bring ya own they gave 2 pieces = 4 piece la coz I have 2 rice. So upset... our favourite shop

First and Last time buy food from this store!! The hygiene problem need to be improve… having Ok chicken rice at Marsiling branch. The rice super hard like stone. And the chicken meat still got kind of blood… omg Price on high side too. First time having so bad experience at Marsiling ok chicken rice food store with the this kind of quality. Not recommend-to having chicken rice at this store…bad quality

Food was good as always. Was served by Mr Sheik. Very friendly and polite service by him. He even went the extra mile to bring us the food to our table. What an absolute service. Keep it up. I joined the membership because of him.
