This is not the usual economic or Mixed vegetables rice aka cai png. Anyone into Nyonya food? This is one of my favourite stall selling Nyonya economic rice. Most of us, especially locals love Nyonya food because they are tasty and very home cooked feel. However, the per dish price at some Nyonya restaurants can be expensive plus the portion is small. Size up and ended up paying more. Anyway, if u crave Nyonya food or want to find that kind of home-cooked taste, check out this stall. I always order 1 meat 2 veg and it cost me $4 and the portion is big. $4 for Nyonya taste is hard to find nowadays. Do remember to check out their other dishes. Highly recommended will be the braised chicken feet. For me, it is a to die for. Boss is very friendly and gives generous portions in my opinion. This hawker centre is near to Farrer Road MRT. If you are nearby, come try it.

Mee Pok Saito Fishball Noodles $4 – a must-try for any true fishball noodle lover. This humble stall at Somerset Fishball Noodle (#01-89) has become my go-to fix — and for good reason. Unlike the usual fishball noodles that can taste bland or overly “fishy,” this bowl hits differently. The fishballs are delightfully chewy, handmade with that comforting homestyle texture. The dry mee pok? Springy, slurp-worthy, and tossed in a sauce that’s rich, savory, and deeply satisfying with every bite. If you've been let down by forgettable bowls before, this one might just change your mind. Go give it a try — it’s the kind of dish that stays with you.:)

Here on 12 Jan 2026. After lunch hours. Quite shocking to see this place is full of birds. I saw the birds flew into pne of the chicken rice stall to help themselves, gosh!!! A lot or stalls are closed on Monday. I feel bad for these hawkers who have to constantly chase away the birds. The venue is quite dirty at certain spots.
