Their chicken dum biryani is pretty good, especially when paired with their onion masala sauce. However, the chicken was a little inconsistent. Some pieces were soft and tender, while others were slightly tough. I also tried their signature fish pollichathu. It was nicely cooked, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the topping sauce. Overall, I’d recommend the biryani, though I think choosing the right sides makes a difference to the overall experience.

Zero stars if possible. ⭐️❌ Ordered 2 dishes including briyani (cooked in bamboo). What arrived was one fried ayam merah drumstick dropped into the bamboo, camou. with sauce and rice. That was it. When we questioned it, the female server said she had already checked with the kitchen and it was served this way. We were thinking maybe they bought the fried merah drumstick from the Indian stall at the corner, then placed into the bamboo to pass it off as a different dish. Once bitten, twice shy and never again. Don’t believe? Try it!

My dining experience at this establishment was exceptionally satisfying. The culinary offerings were uniformly delicious 🍲, each dish presenting a distinct and superbly executed flavor profile. I had the opportunity to sample a diverse selection from their menu, and every item exceeded my expectations in terms of taste and preparation. The overall quality of the food underscored a commitment to gastronomic excellence. This restaurant is highly recommended for individuals seeking an outstanding meal in a pleasant setting. The consistently high standard across all sampled dishes makes it a noteworthy culinary destination 💯. I plan to revisit this location to explore more of their impressive menu. The ambiance further enhanced the positive impression, contributing to a truly delightful and memorable visit. ✨

I had a very disappointing experience today at Paradise Biryani, though I must say the Kerala Chaya was very nice. I ordered ghee dosa, but the gravy was too thick, lacked salt, and the portion was not sufficient for such a large dosa. I also ordered chicken biryani as a takeaway for my friend. Later, I decided to buy mutton biryani for myself and clearly asked the staff which packet was chicken and which was mutton. The serving staff informed me that the packet with gravy was mutton. Based on this information, I delivered the chicken biryani to my friend, but it turned out to be mutton instead. My friend’s place is too far, so I couldn’t go back to exchange it. Since my friend does not consume mutton, the biryani had to be thrown away, which was a complete waste of money. This is not the first time I’ve been served the wrong food at this outlet. The service is really poor, and such mistakes can put customers in an awkward situation, especially when ordering food for others. I do not recommend this place, particularly for takeaway orders. Highly recommend avoiding this outlet.

This place turned out to be a hidden gem as we dont live in Yishun. Really loved the mutton dum biriyani, even tho its prolly lamb meat (like most places in sg), the meat was very tender. It was juicy and so was the masala it was cooked with. We also had masala tea which was good. Bamboo chicken biriyani was good too, a different touch in presentation. We loved the vegetable pakoda too. Very few places in SG has thick milk masala tea and its one of them! Good service, good atmosphere. The location is a bit far off but for those in Yishun, definitely come here! Finally a proper dum biriyani place.

Accessibility: A 5 minutes walk from bus stop 57081 (Opp Blk 713) or a 10 minutes walk if you are coming from block 713 Yishun. The way there isn’t sheltered and it might be a little cluttered given the north south corridor construction but it was generally fine for me to walk over but might be difficult for elderly with mobility issues. Food: The meal started with a small mint drink, and the dum biryani came with two papadams, a red sauce and raita (the white sauce). Haven’t ate much dum biryani but the basmati rice itself was very flavourful and moist. The chicken dum biryani comes in a standard size and portion is sufficient for two people (but for one it’s good as well if you’re hungry). Ended my meal with masala tea with sugar on the side. There’s bottled water on the side if you want and it’s provided to dine in customers at no cost. Service: Can just walk in, order at the counter and get your meal. Staff were nice and were nice to explain more about the food. Weekdays there are different specials which is interesting. Check out the 2025 Deepavali for those interested. No service charge for the final bill.

Delicious food aside, where Paradise really shines as well is in its attention to detail and wonderful service. A complimentary refreshing drink is served after orders are placed, ceramic plates are laid down, and the place is bright and clean. Once, when we had to ask for the biryani to be packed as the portion was big, we were pleasantly surprised to find when we got home that additional curries and raita were included in little containers. We had already finished most of them when we were dining and did not expect or ask for extras. Thoughtful gestures like these make every visit here a special one for our family.
