Visited Muthu’s Curry recently and had a great experience overall. The signature curry fish head was really good I.e rich, flavorful, and well-balanced without being overly heavy. Definitely lives up to its reputation. I also appreciated the chai tea, which was made just the way I like it . not too sweet, allowing the spices to come through nicely. Service was very attentive throughout the meal, with staff checking in regularly and making sure everything was in order. A solid spot if you’re craving authentic and hearty Indian cuisine.

The 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐲 is really good, thick and shiok. Fish is good but just dislike the fish scales when you are happily chewing and the scales gets in your way... 𝐇𝐲𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐝𝐢 𝐌𝐮𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐧 𝐁𝐢𝐫𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢 was decent as well, soft fluffy rice that is not dry and felt very smooth and nice. Also had the 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐡𝐧𝐢 and quite enjoy it and find it toward the sweeter type. Got the 𝐅𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐕𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐤𝐤𝐚𝐢 (𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫) I like la since its one of my favorite veggies and they fried it with the spices batter which was yummy too. However we find that the 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢 is too tiny la, wasn't expecting a small cup of it. Had to put at least 2 cube of sugar and it's perfect. ✨Fish Head Curry $36++ ✨Paneer Makhni $14.50++ ✨Hyderabadi Mutton Biryani $20.00++ ✨Fried Vendakkai (Lady Finger) $14.00++ ✨Masala Chai $5.50

I had such a fantastic dining experience at this Indian restaurant! Every bite was a delight, with rich, authentic Indian spices that were perfectly balanced, no overpowering flavours at all. The portions are generous and the food is fresh and full of character. What made it even better was the outstanding service— the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful and checked in on us just the right amount, making us feel so welcome. The cozy atmosphere added to the perfect meal, and I’ll absolutely be returning for more delicious Indian food. 10/10 recommendation! Also Venkat K gived us such a good service,he recommended many classic and delicious foods to us.

I am not an expert on Indian food. Aside from a few hawker stalls, Muthu's is the only Indian restaurant in Singapore I've ever dined in. This was my 2nd visit, the first being almost a decade ago when they were still open in Suntec City. Everything (aside from the price perhaps) was exactly as I remembered. We ordered garlic naan, masala chicken, paalak dhal, and biryani rice. The biryani has got nice texture and taste. The masala chicken was generously portioned, albeit a bit too spicy for the spice averse. As for the naan, none (ha) could possibly be further improved. We were planning to order some dessert, but alas, I ordered too much biryani refill, and had to go home carrying a takeaway box instead.

For my first meal after landing in Singapore, I went to the famed Muthus curry and got their highly recommended fish curry. First I was served with pappadums and then came the unlimited white rice with 2 veggies combo. The veggies complements the main meal perfectly. Then came the 36$ fish head curry in a big casserole that could take up most of the table space. It would take at least 3 people to finish it. Taste wise it had a perfectly seasoned curry with a right amount of tanginess and a little spicy as would be expected of a good fish curry. The pineapple and Okra in the curry serves as a change up for your tastebuds. The location is in Little India with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Would definitely recommend Muthus curry. Will be back to try their wide array of items.

Muthu’s Curry is a well-known name along Race Course Road, and the service is undeniably efficient, most dishes are pre-prepared and served immediately upon request which makes for quick dining. However, this approach also affected the overall dining experience. The food tended to be dry and served cold, which took away from the richness and vibrancy one would expect from Indian cuisine. Preparing dishes upon order would greatly enhance freshness, temperature and overall flavour. With some adjustments to food preparation and serving methods, Muthu’s Curry could better meet expectations and deliver a more satisfying experience for diners.

This is the REAL fish head curry. Other restaurants plop a little fish head into a pot of same-day 'broth just to call it fish head curry for the tourists. Muthu's Fish Head Curry is the authentic real deal... FULL of tender, fall off the bone white meat that melts in your mouth, crisp okra, and bubbling broth. Every night, they save broth from that day's batch to act as the starter for the next day (similar to sourdough 'mother'). Not only does that practice infuse an amazing depth of spice in the new batch, but also ensures you always get the same complex-but-comforting dish every single time you sit down. Everything here is always amazing. This time, we also had: Chicken Chukka Mysore Mutton Squid Sambal Prawn Chukka Varula All served with pappadam, white rice, stewed eggplant, and turmeric cabbage. Almost everything on the menu except for the naan is naturally gluten-free.

Perhaps one of the best Indian meals we have had in years. The flavors were bold and distinct. We started w the perfectly crispy gobi (cauliflower) followed by chicken tikka masala—bold and complex—and Malabar fish curry—exquisite and delicate—both accompanied by soft, hot naan w garlic and butter. We probably ordered more than we could eat, but all bowls and plates were wiped empty by the time we finished. It was one of those meals in which the deliciousness of the food defeated any notions of being full. Equally important, service was warm, helpful, and friendly. Setting modern and clean. We only wish an Indian restaurant of this quality and integrity existed where we live. I would return to Muthu’s Curry in a heartbeat if the occasion arose to be in Singapore again.
