Taste is subjective. This stall is well known but unfortunately, their beef noodle is not to my liking. I always like to look for well known hawker and try out their food when I go to a new place. Was around the area and decided to try out the beef noodle soup. Was glad there was no queue in the morning as I heard that it is popular with the lunch crowd. The kuey teow beef noodle soup soul is in the soup. For this, it's either you like it or not. It has a nice flavour and the only element that spoils it for me is that it is too sweet...which is not to my liking..... The type which involves adding too much sugar and not those natural sweetness and flavour. For those who drink kopi kosong and reduced their sugar intake which makes you very sensitive to sugar like me, I will not rec this beef noodle. I did not finish the noodle 🍜 even though I hate wasting food.

WELL DESERVED DAMN GOOD STANDARD Hai Nan xing Zhou beef noodle Aunty is quite funny, when asking to paynow she'll rap the mobile no in Mandarin, super fast Gah damn their soup is power. Super beefy and so umami packed. Very savoury slightly creamy. Dry noodle sauce is super thick, good flavour and what you'd expect. Chili wise it's quite lacking very light taste with a slightest bitter aftertaste All the meat and innards are all so tender and the flavour is really absorbed well into them

An excellent bowl of beef noodle. I ordered a dry version and very satisfied. Slices of beef were tender, and tendons were bouncy and soft enough that you have no problem eating it. Offals had nice texture and I loved them. Gravy was on a thick side and it sticks to kway teow. Packed with flavor, the gravy stayed thick until I finished the bowl. Soup was so nice. If possible, I would have a second and pay for it. So much umami in a bowl, and I could feel my body loving the soup so much. Will definitely come back again. Uncles were very friendly and helpful. Recommend the $7 one to experience this fantastic bowl to its fullest. In my opinion, tendon is a must.

I haven't been here for a few years, actually back to visit and decided to give it a try again to see if it is still Michelin Bib Gourmand standard. Ordered the mixed one at $7. Wanted the kway teow version but they only displayed thick beehoon and yellow noodles. I asked for the thick beehoon and within 10 seconds they displayed the kway teow and I requested for a change and they happily did the change for me. Same old same old friendly uncles behind giving me a small talk and being so friendly. Finally got myself a table and sat down to try the noodles. This time got the dry one which came with a small bowl of soup. The soup is definitely the highlight for me because its so rich in flavour and its slightly different from others because the soup is slightly on the thicker side, like it's loaded with goodness. The sauce seemed to taste different from before. Not sure if the taste has mellowed a little. The cuts were still alright and the meat was pretty well executed. Wished they have given a bit of of the preserved vegetables and the miss to me has to be the lack of chinchalok together with the chilli. Decent bowl of noodles and worth a try.

Nostalgic old school taste that hits the spot hard in the most comforting way. Had the beef soup noodles - broth is cloudy, milky yet light that can only come from simmering goodness for a long long time. The beef sliced is slightly in perfect thickness that brings out a soft yet meaty enough to give it a meaty bite. The chilli is packs a good padi punch to give burst of brightness to it. This is authentic hainanese cuisine fare at its finest. Straightforward hearty and simple yet flavourful with depth and texture. Must try and you will be back for more cos this is way better than food court franchise chains out there.

I’ve been eating their beef noodles for almost 30 years now and it never disappoints! I love getting the sliced beef and beef stomach dry noodles. That way, you get both the amazing sauce and a side bowl of soup! The sliced beef and beef stomach are tender. Along with the noodles, salted veg topping and flavorful thick sauce, it’s one of my all-time favourite breakfast/brunch foods to get. Their chilli packs a lovely punch that pairs well with the noodles. And most of all, the staff are just the friendliest and sweetest. I always enjoy eating here!

This stall is facing a row of fruit and bakery. Has many birds flying in, so atmosphere rating takes a hit. Food is great and service is prompt.

Always a queue during lunch hours. Definitely of the best around in Singapore. we eat here almost every weekend during school days. My son can't get enough of the beef tripes. The maestro is always serious in his cooking and even at his age the agility and finese in cooking and serving the food is excellent. Do drop by for a treat if nearby. Highligh recommended if you are in the hood. Should eat here at least once.
