Kid bit into broken cockle shells twice, brought the food back to feedback. Owner say cockle shell in food is normal and there is nothing he can do about it sincethe cockles are hand peeled and ask me what i wanted. Request to replace the food with a new plate without cockles but was told i need to play full price for 2nd plate because it is normal to have cockle shell in the food. Most ridiculous position taken in my whole life of eating char kway teow, egg shell i understand, cockle shell is normal is new to me

Had a very bad experience with the owner of this hawker. I had brought my family and friends for a gathering at this hawker centre for well known for good foods. We had ordered varieties of foods to share so as to get a taste for many. However, we were taken aback of a plate of fried noodles from Chef Goo that was tasted of over burnt rather than wokhey. Feedback to the owner but he denied and rudely said that because we ate it already so no replacement. I asked him to have a taste of the over burnt noodle but he totally ignored. Is this the way to treat your customers? We will never patronise again for such arrogance hawker.

I went today to ordered 1 packet of hokkien Mee from the guy. He replied he only has 1 hokkien mee left. Which I responded ya 1 hokkien Mee packet. And he replied he only has 1 hokkien Mee, ask me to ordered Char Kway Teow. So I look at his menu again and ordered the crabmeat char Kway Teow. At this point, he say so 2 packet? Which I replied in confusion. Cos I only ask for 1 packet from the start. So I ask him again, so his hokkien Mee available for 1 packet? And then he say yes. Which then I response then of cos I take the hokkien Mee lah. That's my order Mah. Then he told me off, ask me don't buy from him. This type of attitude should not deserve to even open a shop to run business. Updated 28th Aug 2023 I didn’t notice there was a reply until today. And there it is. He heard wrongly and blame people for his own fault. You think I come to your shop everyday and know your dishes at the back of my mind? It was my first time approaching your stall, and it is definitely the last. Still say people self entitlement??? You think you are popular influencer that people know all your dish ah!? So ignorant of you. You are obviously a person lack in attitude, probably due to your upbringing. Anyway go and scold as many customers as you like, since this is just you, as I saw from other people post as well. Those who wish to patronize this stall. Be aware of this unfriendly chef. There are many other good food stall there that know how to show respect.

by far the freshest ingredients ever tasted in a hokkie mee. prawns were so plump and fresh. lala was sweet and without sand, pork belly was chunky and tender. however execution was not doing the quality ingredients justice as noodles were over cooked and alkaline-y. chilli was bitter and doesnt compliment the dish. call it meticulous or OCD but items were cooked but all 4 orders (4 dine-in and 4 takeaways) have to be plated before being served to individual customers, by the time comes, all orders are already cold. flavour wise doesnt really compares to other contenders out there, but attitude wise definite a chef. just not one that do the great ingredients justice.

I came here on a weekday lunch hour and there was no queue. The cook prepared my seafood fried rice ($6) within 5 minutes. It was okay but delicious with a satisfactory amount of wokhei. My dish came with a helping of chili paste which complimented the fried rice. Opens daily unless mentioned otherwise on Google.

We ordered the sambal fish, fried hokkien mee and fried kway tiao. Overall, all 3 dishes are pretty average, none of the 3 tastes exceptionally well or bad. But given the amount of good quality stalls in the alexandra food centre, i can understand why most people will rate it lower than average.

Liquidy curry, lots of rice but few ingredients. Oily and unhealthy meal that's not rewarding in taste

The fried prawn hokkien mee, can’t be wrong if eating in Singapore. But this fact had been broken after eating here even it’s their signature. It’s totally tasteless besides the charred flavor. Feedback to the chef, only response was giving a small spoon with a little soy sauce. This did not make any difference to the taste. The fried kway teow is good though.
