IPPUDO THE STAR VISTA

Ordered the most basic ramen available on the menu and it tastes not bad! The broth is flavourful but just that it’s a tad salty. Staff were polite and helpful, assisting with taking my food order when the e-ordering payment page couldn’t load. This restaurant also serves free iced water which I thought is a friendly gesture! :) I last ate ippudo 7 years ago during their anniversary celebration, $9.90 ramen ohyeahh 👍

My go to place for a quick ramen. Only thing is the ramen is not hot enough and it’s way too salty the moment the ramen gets slightly cold and unfortunately they don’t keep the ramen bowl hot like some other ramen outlets or even in Japan. It would be good to have basic condiments for customers as it’s strange to provide vinegar in a small dish and then we have to pour it and in turn spill. The meat for the salad is a little on the tough side.

You can never go wrong with Ippudo - it’s a solid, consistent and tasty ramen option scattered all over the island. I especially enjoy the hot and cold contrast of the firm noodles against the piping hot broth. Always worth having.

Overall, a solid Ippudo experience! This branch is a first for us in that it has a “simple” option for the ramen dishes which is nice when you’re not looking for so much meat and it’s a bit more affordable. The salmon roll was very tasty but also pricey. For my wife, the dumplings were as good as ever. This branch doesn’t have the best veggie ramen option, so I still prefer other branches that serve the nirvana eggplant ramen. It’s located in the Star Vista so there area many options for shopping and dessert afterwards along with covered access to the MRT.

Came on a wednesday at 7.30pm. Ordered shiromaru classic tamago and tsukumen ramen. Tsukumen was wholesome with an egg, yuzu condiments and chewy noodles of right texture. The pork in the broth was soft and good. Quality was not bad. Online order took time to load for the images. Can get crowded and may need to wait in queue. Service was rather prompt.

You know those rare dining experiences where the food looks and tastes so incredible that you completely forget to take a photo until your plate is clean? This is one of those places as seen on the photos i submitted. The quality here has remained consistently excellent over the years. During our recent visit, even my wife couldn't help but remark, "This ramen is really good." It’s worth noting that it leans slightly on the saltier side, but honestly, that’s just standard for authentic ramen. To top it off, the service was outstanding. A very tall waiter named Fon Wei (I hope I spelled that correctly!) took care of my family. He was incredibly attentive and helpful throughout our meal. We will definitely be back again—kudos to Fon Wei and the team!

Now i have always depended on Ippudo for a hearty bowl of ramen done right and their outlet at Star Vista is no different. Thankfully even at 12.30pm at the peak of lunch hour we got a corner table instantly without waiting. Their lunch sets represented incredible value actually. The ramen bowl might look deceptively small, but trust me the depth will definitely leave your belly filled. Anyway, at $16 per set, you get to pick 3 types of ramen, i got the spicy variant, picked the doneness of my noodles with a slice of charsiu plus a drink and a side dish of chicken karrage. Now the ramen was on point, noodles were perfectly cooked, the spicy broth was equally tasty, the charsiu was tender and had good bite. The karrage was good too, appreciated that they gave a slice of lemon which provided the perfect balance to the deep fried crunchy chicken. Impressive as always and definitely enjoyed my lunch!

Decide to get some dipping ramen with some salads to go with. Pity the salad came after my noodles.
