Common Grill® @ Hougang Mall

Been patronised here for years especially fish & chips. Usually will go for their fish & chips as their size XL as mentioned inside the menu with price at $9.90 which I personally think value for money. But this time was really disappointing with the fish from XL to M!! Even my 11yo said he was disappointed. Approached the staff & the staff came out frm kitchen informed me they change the dory fish to another expensive fish. That is not my problems if you change your resources & did not mentioned in your menu. So that my family decision not to eat there anymore! Or any Collin’s outlet because their outlet all operated differently!

..I dont even have the words. The cheese is burnt and dried up, there is no sauce on the rice whatsoever, and digging my spoon into it feels like trying to lift an elephant with a shovel. I am starving. I am so sad. Im never ordering from here again.

Somehow I find the outlet at Hougang Green nicer. The Carbonara is kinda salty and not as savory as the one I had… probably will go back to other outlets! The mushroom soup taste like from Campbell 🤔 To be fair the place is nice for a date night

Same review as the previous person! That fish and chip shrunk so much! It's like a kids portion.

First time eating here. Ordered Ribeye steak. V tender. Both my son and myself enjoyed it. Reasonable price. Will come back again.

I really think this outlet is trying to cut costs. It started with giving half portions of the meats in our mixed grill. After pointing out to them, they made up only for the missing portions of chicken and not the pork.The spaghetti also tasted completely different from that from other outlets. It's not cooked al-dente and tasted of flour. The spaghetti and meats are also not well-seasoned.

I ordered Norwegian Salmon, with aglio oglio. The salmon was quite common tasting, along with the aglio oglio. I have tasted better salmon. It was well cooked but not enough seasonings. I have already given feedback to the cashier in charge, and he was very pleasant to deal with. Will come again for their food. :)

Staff was always unfriendly and show unhappy face when taking order.
