Soup Restaurant 三盅两件 (Hougang Mall)

Came during early part of dinner where there were only 2 groups of tables occupied. Told the staff we (4 of us) want to sit at the square tables but was told not appropriate for baby chairs to be placed. We came before and sat there with baby chair before. We were given the round tables which was obviously smaller. So instead of ordering a few more dishes, we only order 2. Maybe the management would rather early diners eat at cramped tables and order less.

14Feb2026 We pre-ordered the set. We paid a deposit to reserve the CNY reunion dinner. We were surprised that they did not know about the pre-order. As we waited for the food, other guests seemed to get their food first. But after that, the food came pretty fast. The portion was big or maybe we were small eaters so we got to tabao some home. The food is okay except for some. The steamed chicken with ginger was the best😀

This is my second time eating food from this brand. The awesome one is their signature Samsui Chicken. Its normal steam white chicken, but the taste of it when wrap w the lettuce is terrific. The steam fish is also very fresh. The way they steam it, u can still see the layer of fats (omega) on the fish. Solid. The cereal prawns is also good, fresh prawns and fresh cereal.

The chicken and the tofu was the highlight of the mail. The place is not the most spacious but still doable. We came during the dinner period hence there was a short wait time of ~10 mins. Overall, the food here is rather above average so would reccomend to come and try at least once.

the food was delicious, very fresh, very tasty. i loved the decorations, brings a lot of culture . the service was the best part. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, greeted us with a smile

The food quality is good as usual. And the staff here are impeccable! Very friendly, patient and attentive. Samsui chicken is definitely one of the best dishes here.
