Pala Restaurant & Rooftop Bar

Pala Restaurant in Bali is one of the most beautiful restaurants I have ever visited. The setting and views were absolutely breathtaking, creating an unforgettable dining experience. The service was impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel genuinely welcome. Every dish we ordered was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. From the stunning atmosphere to the exceptional food and outstanding service, everything exceeded our expectations. It was truly a memorable experience. I would highly recommend Pala Restaurant & Roof Top Bar to anyone visiting Bali.

It was a pleasure to have dinner at Apurva Kempinski Bali, specifically at Pala Resort. All the staff were friendly and attentive to us. From the moment we entered, the security guard guided us well. However, the problem was that we had difficulty getting information on how to get on the baggy car. From the lobby to Pala Resort, it was quite a long walk, which made our feet sore. Because from the front lobby we were told to go down to look for it, there we found a lot of baggy, but didn't find any staff there, so we kept walking around asking one by one to the staff we met who didn't really understand the system until we finally found the Pala Resort itself. We were greeted well by the staff there, they explained well the obstacles that occurred due to the rain. Previously I had requested a table on WA, the admin said they couldn't guarantee it, so I thought we would get a table that we didn't want, but I was wrong. I got the table I wanted. Whether it was really prepared well by the staff or how, the point is today they made me happy. And also I really liked the explanation of the staff who carefully explained about the drinks we received, we once received a drink that we didn't order because we thought it was part of the complimentary, but it turned out it wasn't. And it turned out the staff served it wrong. But he explained it well, and luckily we hadn't drunk it because it was a cocktail. Then the food was served well and I got a birthday surprise from the staff, basically the best Apurva. The food was also delicious, everyone, and when we got home, the staff was really careful, THANKYOU PALA RESORT YOU MAKE ME HAPPY ON MY BIRTHDAY TODAY. Maybe I'll come here again when I have kids. HAHAHAHAHA

We stayed for 5 nights on a luxury escapes half board and had breakfast here everyday, cocktails twice at the rooftop bar and dinner once. 1) breakfast - a bit chaotic and crowded. There a made to order menu and the restaurant feels very buffet. Quality wise is just average. Kudos to tge Staff who do a great job keeping their smiles and cool despite the crowd. And even remembering us after the second day. 2) rooftop bar - very nice environment when the evening is breezy. Quality of the drinks in the included menu was rather low and inconsistent on the two nights we went. Had the mojito which was not good, honje, lavender and chamomile g&t which had some ingredients missing as stated in the menu. View was great though in the evenings 3) dinner - we had rendang spring roll, duck betutu taco, ghee roasted prawn, butter chicken and pork ribs rica rica. The duck betutu taco, ghee roasted prawn and butter chicken was absolutely delicious. And very generous. 5 pieces ! In the end we were stuffed and very satisfied.

📍At The Apurva Kempinski Resort 🪑The interior of the resort and the restaurant is amazing. 🛎️ The staff are so polite and serve you like royalty; it feels awkward. However, I got my food before my drinks, and it all took quite a long time. 💰It is much more expensive than other restaurants, but you know that in advance. IDR 700,000 is €34 for a meal and a drink. For the Netherlands, that is cheap. 📆RESERVE if you want to sit outside. Otherwise, it's full, or you have to leave within an hour. 🍽️ You don't pay for the food here. I don't like the cuisine they offer at all, so I didn't find the food tasty either. I came here for the experience and the view. As the taxi driver said—you don't come for your eyes, not for your stomach. The food gets a 2 🚽Beautiful and clean 🌁 The view gets a 10 📱The staff is being used for photoshoots. People bring extra lighting and cameras for Instagram photos. I also took photos from my table. Others do entire shoots across the whole terrace. Please keep that in mind. 📋6/10 - food isn't really good, but beautifully presented. Cocktails too. The view is amazing. Once is enough, so to speak.

had dinner here with my partner, and it was such a lovely experience. special thanks to Reni, who took great care of us throughout the evening. she regularly checked on us, made sure everything was okay with the food, and even kindly offered to help take photos of us with the beautiful building view. the service from Reni and the rest of the staff was excellent and made us feel very welcome. now lets talk about the food. we ordered the nasi goreng kampung, and it was really delicious. I was initially expecting a stronger wok smoked flavor, but even without that, the taste still didn’t disappoint at all. we also ordered the rendang samosa, which ended up being my partner's favorite dish. the rendang filling inside was soft and flavorful with a slightly continental touch, and the samosa pastry was perfectly crispy. I really liked the texture combination. the last dish we tried was the pizza achari paneer. the shape of the pizza here is quite unique, it's long rather than the usual round shape, as you can see in the picture. the flavor was excellent and definitely impressed both of us. we were also lucky that it didn’t rain when we arrived, so we could fully enjoy the atmosphere. thank you, Pala Restaurant, for such a great experience. we'll definitely be coming back again!

The breakfast buffet is very complete and truly excellent. There is a wide variety of options, everything is fresh and delicious. I especially loved the scrambled eggs, they were perfectly prepared. We would also like to especially highlight Juni, the breakfast waiter. From the very first moment, he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional. He welcomed us every morning with a genuine smile and such positive energy, which made starting the day even more enjoyable. He paid attention to every detail without being intrusive, remembered our preferences, and made sure we had everything we needed. This kind of service truly makes a difference and shows real passion for hospitality. Thank you, Juni, for making every breakfast such a pleasant experience ✨

What a wonderful place with delicious food! We had dinner here and it really was a lovely way to end our first day here! We ordered the vegetarian thali, aloo pyaaz kulcha and margherita pizza! The thali was really delicious! Our favourite dishes from it were the samosa chaat, daal and rice, garlic naan and paneer tikka. The pizza was also very nice! And a special mention to Indah who took really great care of us. She went above and beyond to check everything with regards to our dietary requirements, and she did it with a smile. Thank you Indah for making our evening so great!

We went to Pala almost nightly for cocktails, as well as the occasional dinner, during our stay at Apurva Kempinski. The cocktails (included in our stay) were excellent and the staff were extremely attentive. There is an extensive menu of Indian & Indonesian cuisine and very accomodating of dietary requirements. A special mention to Dewi, who took such good care of us, but also to the waitstaff who were all incredible. Will definitely be coming back!
