We had a lovely experience here. The place has a nice atmosphere, and the breakfast was both beautifully presented and delicious. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and a great way to start the day. What truly stood out was the staff. They were extremely friendly, sweet, and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. Their warm hospitality added a special touch to the overall experience. Highly recommended for a tasty breakfast and excellent service!

One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in Berawa! From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was outstanding. The security guards and the entire staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, which is impressive considering how busy the place was. As a local, I truly appreciate how inclusive they are. We felt genuinely welcomed and received the exact same high level of service as the international tourists. No discrimination at all, just pure, professional hospitality. It makes such a difference when a place makes everyone feel at home. For parents, this place is a gem. They have a great play area and specific kids' activities, so our children were kept busy and happy while we actually got to enjoy our food in peace. It’s the perfect balance for a family outing. On top of the great vibes, the facilities are well-kept and the toilets are very clean, which is always a big plus in my book. Definitely a 10/10 and highly recommended for anyone looking for a friendly, high-quality spot in Bali!

I've heard great reviews about this place online and was excited to try. I ordered the madu pancakes, egg benny, stackhouse, and steak frites. As a steak lover myself, I love trying steak from each restaurant I visit and this is one of the worst steak ever. I ordered a medium rare striploin, but it is overcooked and really really tough. I tried the middle portion which is redder yet I still have difficulty cutting the steak into smaller portions. Around 2 pieces were ate and it was too tough to finish it. I asked the waitress to redo it, explicitly saying I'd like it softer. First of all, the waitress did not offer any apologies for the food mistake and just ask for the steak to be cut into smaller portion and cook it longer. I'd expected a new piece of steak that is cooked medium rare, instead I received the same plate with the same steak into smaller pieces. As a restaurant selling steak on the menu, it doesn't make sense the waitress doesn't know what I meant by it's overcooked and giving me back the same steak. The other food was normal, not as mind blowing as raved. Also, for the stackhouse it is placed under the Sando and wrap category, which it is definitely not correct. I did not expect a "sando" to come with focaccia bread. Overall, service is not satisfactory and you can definitely find better cafe food at other places with the same price range.

If you are reading this review, it means that you are in the same position I was when i visited Canggu, more specific, you re not sure where to go to have food because all mixted reviews with great experiences, food poisoning or the fake outstanding ones. For me it was a nice experience, food was delicious, we went for Tuesday pizza (1+1 free). We didn’t get sick and our waiter Endang was very nice and kind.

What a beautiful place! The interior is stunning — lots of greenery, natural materials and a very calm, stylish atmosphere. It immediately feels relaxed and welcoming. We had the burrata with tomato and warm bread, and a shrimp dish with toasted sourdough. Both were really tasty and nicely presented. Simple dishes, but full of flavor. The people working here were very friendly and attentive, which always makes a place extra nice. Before leaving we even bought a small salt bowl from their shop — such a lovely little souvenir. A beautiful spot to sit, enjoy good food and just take a moment to relax. We would happily come back again.

Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing. First of all, I would like to address the quality of the food. The salmon contained bones, and the bread was extremely hard and overcooked. It was almost impossible to cut and eat properly. I even asked to replace the knife, but even with a sharper one, the bread was still very difficult to cut. It felt poorly prepared and overly dried. In addition, there were flies constantly flying around during breakfast, and no action was taken to address this. I had to keep waving them away to prevent them from landing on my food, which was very unpleasant and unacceptable for a place with this price level. For this price point, the service also does not meet expectations. Basic items such as napkins are not provided unless you specifically ask for them. The same applies to toothpicks and other small essentials. In a restaurant with these prices, proper napkins should be placed on the table automatically, not just cutlery wrapped in one thin napkin. Moreover, this location feels quite crowded and noisy. The tables are placed very close to each other, and the atmosphere is not comfortable for relaxing. This does not match the price level. I have visited other Milk & Madu locations where the experience was much better, so this appears to be an issue with this particular location or staff. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this one.

Milk & Madu in Berawa is one of those places that just works—whether you’re coming for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or simply hanging out with friends over coffee. The first thing that stands out is the huge and well-curated food selection. From classic breakfast plates and fluffy pancakes to pizzas, pastas, burgers, and healthier options, there’s genuinely something for everyone. It’s the kind of menu where even the pickiest eater will find a favorite, and groups with different cravings can all be happy at the same table. The food quality is consistently solid. Portions are generous, flavors are balanced, and everything feels comforting without being boring. Their pizzas are especially popular, and for good reason—great dough, good toppings, and perfect for sharing. Breakfast and brunch options are also a strong point, making it a reliable go-to spot any time of day. Location-wise, Milk & Madu Berawa is super centralized, which makes it an easy meeting point. Whether you’re coming from Canggu, Berawa, or nearby areas, it’s accessible and convenient. This also adds to its vibe as a great hangout place—you’ll see families, digital nomads, friends catching up, and people casually working on laptops. The atmosphere is relaxed and lively without being overwhelming. Staff are friendly, service is efficient even when it’s busy, and the space feels welcoming. Overall, Milk & Madu Berawa is a dependable classic: great food variety, good vibes, and an easy place to spend a few hours without feeling rushed. A true Berawa staple that never disappoints.

Had an amazing dinner here at Milk & Madu Berawa! The food was top-notch—especially The Morta pizza and the BBQ Pork Ribs. Everything was flavorful and perfectly cooked. A huge shoutout to our server, Wati, for the exceptional service! She was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made us feel so welcome throughout the night. It’s rare to find such high-quality service, and she really made our family dinner special. The vibe here is fantastic. Highly recommended if you are in the Canggu/Berawa area!
