We came in fresh from yoga, just wanting a quick brekkie and yupppp this place is small and packed. Jangan expect a chill, slow morning here. If you’re solo or just two, be ready to share tables with strangers. TAPIIIII if you’re here for the food, oh baby be ready. The line looks scary long, tapi cepet kok. Serunya disini adalah kalian bisa make your own plate, 3, 5, or go wild with more. Perfect when you want everything wkwkwk. I honestly thought it’d be just another overhyped “bule cafe" but i was wrong. It’s VERYYYY GOODDDD. Like, i’m local and i fully approve. Got the croissant + whipped butter and omfg??? Flaky, light, buttery heaven. That butter?? Illegal levels of good!!! Nangis banget. Perfect spot if you want a quick, satisfying, mix everything kind of brekkie. Not for chilling, but 100% for eating.

Came here because it was highly recommended online, but honestly it feels more like an influencer spot than an actually amazing café. Everything is very Instagrammable and “healthy aesthetic”, but the food itself is just average. You basically assemble small portions onto toast. Service was also average, they brought scrambled eggs instead of sunny side eggs, several menu items were unavailable, and the atmosphere feels rushed because the place is tiny and always busy. The orange juice tasted strange and not fresh. Only thing we genuinely enjoyed was the carrot cake. Overall: trendy, photogenic, but overrated.

If you’re looking for a good all-day breakfast spot in Canggu, I can confidently recommend Copenhagen Canggu. We came in expecting a long wait since there was already a queue outside, but the staff handled everything so efficiently that we got seated almost immediately. What stood out even more was how attentive they were throughout the experience — one of the staff noticed our table felt a bit cramped and later offered to move us to a bigger table without us even asking. Small gesture, but it made the experience feel extra thoughtful and welcoming. What I really enjoyed was their build-your-own breakfast concept because it lets you customize your plate exactly how you want it. Every single thing we ordered was genuinely good — the sourdough was perfectly toasted, the chicken sausage was flavorful, the açaí bowl was fresh and refreshing, and the carrot cake was probably one of my favorites from the meal. You can tell they pay attention not just to presentation, but also to quality and flavor. The place definitely lives up to the hype. Between the food, service, and overall vibe, it’s one of those breakfast spots in Canggu that actually deserves the crowd.

Great food! Worth the hype?! Maybe 🤔 worth the queue?! Yes 🙌🏻 but it was overall a very pleasant experience. I’d just recommend to the staff not placing the bread on the paper sheet of the menu. Misses hygiene. Otherwise, best matcha latte I had in Bali. Sourdough is amazing and it’s vegan! (Most places don’t have that.) also so cool that you can build your own breakfast plate depending on what you crave for the day. A bit sad that it’s just right at the street and rather noisy… Anyway overall REALLY great job 👏🏻

Have visited multiple times over the past 5 years and while it is still a great place for a brunch stop i have noticed that the tabels have got a lot closer together making it feel cramped and the food quality has changed with portions becoming smaller and food lacking flavour and sometimes moisture. Would still return however, I do think they need to keep producing the high quality and flavourful food they became popular for.

Potential is there, execution is not Copenhagen Cafe Changu is overcrowded, overpriced, and a textbook example of influencer marketing carrying a cafe further than its quality warrants. The issues stacked up quickly. I ordered a fresh juice and, due to a food allergy, asked if one ingredient could be left out. I was told no — because they prepare the juice in the morning. Let that sink in. Fresh juice, by definition, is freshly pressed or squeezed to order. If it was made hours ago and cannot be modified, it is not fresh juice — it is a pre-made drink with a misleading label. Dismissing an allergy request with that explanation is not just lazy, it is irresponsible. Then came the iced cappuccino. Without ice. At that point I genuinely started wondering whether the coffee is also brewed in the morning and left to sit. The one bright spot was the manager. Once I brought the issues to her attention, she did her best to turn the experience around and genuinely tried to lift the mood — and that effort did not go unnoticed. Sort out the basics at the operational level, and this could easily be a four or five star spot. The foundation is there.

Excellent breakfast spot in Canggu. The quality of the ingredients was outstanding and everything felt very fresh and well prepared. The scrambled eggs were super creamy, the smoked salmon was delicious, and the pastries/bread were amazing. Great presentation, generous portions, and really good coffee as well. Cozy atmosphere and friendly service. Definitely one of the best breakfast experiences we had in Bali!

Had such a lovely brunch here and honestly, this place is a standout in Canggu 🌿✨ The whole café has that beautiful Scandinavian feel — bright, airy, minimalist, and super calming. It’s the kind of spot where you sit down and instantly relax. The food was fantastic — fresh, wholesome, and plated so nicely. You can really taste the quality ingredients, and everything feels healthy without sacrificing flavor. Perfect balance for a proper brunch. Drinks were a highlight for me too. I loved the double espresso — strong, smooth, and exactly how a good espresso should be ☕ And the coconut matcha was such a treat — creamy, refreshing, and something a little different from the usual options. Definitely a must-try! Service was warm and friendly, with staff who make you feel welcome without being intrusive. Overall, amazing vibes, delicious food, and top-quality drinks. One of those cafés you’ll keep going back to whenever you're in Canggu 💛
