Trust me, if you’re visiting Kintamani, Paperhills is the place to go. From the price, menu, service, and facilities — everything feels top tier. I’ve also tried another popular spot, Paxdi, but honestly it didn’t live up to the hype for me. It felt overpriced and disappointing. Paperhills is totally worth it. The prices is worth it, the staff are attentive and always ready to help, and the place itself is spacious with lots of beautiful photo spots. They even have a pool, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back with my family and will keep recommending this place. Thank you for the amazing experience 🤍

Staffs are very nice & friendly, important thing is that they greet & smile! Great job! But food is very poor. Gado Gado Salad kind of pretentious. 4 pieces of taufo, some green beans, carrots, beansprout & egg. Catering more to the western crowd. Pastry, ordered the lemon meringue, super dry & doesnt go well with the americano at all. Coffee is good, but not my preference. Its more towards light bright flavour. View is nice of course, so does all the cafes here.

View was spectacular, but everything else was a disappointment. They have a very extensive menu, and all of the baked goods looked really good, so perhaps our chosen items just missed the mark. We had Mac n cheese croquettes, cassava, pizza and satay, all just meh. The incessant wine of drones and a million flys made the experience unpleasant. Washrooms were dirty. Try some other place to enjoy this spectacular view.

Really nice spot overall. The food was good across the board — solid flavors and well presented. But the real highlight was the desserts… absolutely incredible. Everything we tried was on another level, especially the sweet options like the cinnamon roll and tiramisu expresso. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed, making it a great place to hang out with friends. Definitely worth a visit, and 100% save room for dessert — that’s where this place really shines. Also price a bit higher for Bali but still reasonable

Restaurant is not bad, view to volcano is beautiful, but be aware of this things: 1) if you want to enter Kintamani area, there is scam road punkt, with 10 people who are charging "tickets" to enter this area because it is "national park". So tell this scammers you go to visit Sekumpul waterfall or beach and that you are in a transition through Kintamani. 2) restaurant obviously doesn't pay their employees and you can see they are confused and not professional. 3) restaurant was full of flies and it is impossible to seat relaxing and enjoy the view. They put some candles to kill flies, but they are so many. So if you come here, be careful of road scammers

I really wanted the salmon on mash but that's a limited menu 🥲 the salmon salad (forgot the name) is totally fine, it was just a nice change to eat something different. although it was advertised with a hummus, and there's not even a spoonful smidge 🥲 PRO: selection is a little different CON: gotta order extra I'm not a fan of the pastries though, too sweet and cloying for me. there seem to be some kind of blueberry jam at the bottom of my brûlée danish... it tasted a little fermented to me 🙃 view is nice and the staff is good. at this point, I've been to so many of the restaurants on the same road, it's just a matter of choosing which menu you like more 😆

Had the perfect experience. Came at 9am on Friday, still quiet before the crowds. The view is spectacular and the place is awash in pink and stone, feeling homely and rustic despite being a huge 5 level sprawling complex replete with a pool club. I’m not a pool club guy but it’s so nice you could twist my arm, the pools yes several on diff levels look right at Mt Batur and the open expanse. starting at 200k to swim - this comes with the same value food voucher so it’s basically free haha. The coffee was great no complaints and the latte came in the 3/4 glass I’m used to as a Syd coffee snob. And I had the salmon on mash which was actually a very complex meal well balanced with 2 poached eggs mushrooms and some garnishes and crunch in a coconut sauce that tasted much like a balanced version of the yellow curries on the island. It has chilli obviously not for those who can’t take it but it’s not hot. I’ll be back for sure - just read this and want to say I was not paid just pleasantly surprised but the experience and recommend you should all go.
