Biku

This was my first evening meal at Biku and whilst I have previously enjoyed high tea, I was bitterly disappointed with my main course meal. I ordered beef redang and what came out did not in any way resemble the dish I am accustomed to. The meat was exceptionally tough and lacked the usual depth of flavour. I called the waiter over to confirm what dish he has served me. He claimed it was beef redang, but in liquid. I asked for the menu to re check the description and there was no mention of the dish being a variation. I told him very clearly that I was not satisfied with the meal. I did not eat it. When my full plate was finally cleared I reiterated that the dish was entirely inadequate. The waiter did offer for me to select another meal, but my dinner companions had all finished their meals so not an option at that late stage. Sadly I was charged 135,000 Rupiah (excluding taxes) for this dish I did not eat. I must say that the live music was excellent. Although my party was shocked to see a shirtless diner arrive (he was seated way out the back thankfully). Very very disappointing.

Amazing food with reasonable prices served in a quaint, colonial-era venue. Mix of Asian and Western with a wide tea selection. Live band on Saturdays. Ordered the butter chicken and marinated chicken breast and had one of the most enjoyable dining experience during my stay in Bali. The chill vibes, great band with cool personnel, and delicious food mesh well and led to a great time. Gets packed during dinnertime. Staff are very attentive and will ask you about dietary restrictions. Plenty of parking at the back. Very walkable. Very well done. Highly recommended for a chill, mellow evening or to cap your journey with a great mood. Will definitely visit again.

I had a really pleasant experience at Biku Restaurant (DPS Airport) on my late lunch today at 30 April 2026. The staff were very attentive from the start, even checking for any food allergies before confirming the order - a thoughtful touch that shows genuine care. I also appreciated the small details, like offering a basket to keep our bags off the floor, which made the table feel more comfortable and organized. Service consistency stood out - the team checked back on the food quality shortly after we started eating, and even simple things like offering to pour the mineral water (Aqua Reflection) into our glasses were handled proactively. For a total of IDR 467K for two people, the overall experience felt very worth it. The combination of service quality and food delivery was excellent. I’ve already shared this experience with seven members of my managerial team - genuinely impressed and well done.

Nothing to say. Expnsive place but flawless service, impeccable food. The réputation ofbtheir flagship carrot cake is justified : the pastry is not too sweet, the cream sweet sourness adds a nice contrast to the pastry. A lot of material is used into this. My nasi campur was excellent, sophisticated, but as everything else on the pricey side. The whole restaurant, an old rebuilt joglo provides a very nice and authentic atmosphere, even if it's a reconstructed atmosphere. It's my first time here, but it lives up to my expectations.

Wow, too bad I didn't make photo or video, I will next time. Come here at sunday evening because there is live keroncong, but really surprise to find a fine resto, with relaxing and fun ambience n atmophere. The live music without mic, it is so enjoyable. Good group of keroncong. All meals are really enjoyable, the taste the portion all enough, and makes us able to try a few menus. The cakes are good, they have different cakes of the day, hard to choose, the house drinks also good. Want to try their high tea or afternoon tea next time. The location is easybto find, nice and quiet. Parking place are spacious for both two or four wheels. Just highly recommended. Update: 2nd visit another sunday for keroncong. This time I make photo and video. Try different menus, all satisfying.

I knew this place from their ad for Tarot Reading. But I always come back ever since. Gosh their scones are so delicious and fluffy and always warm when it reaches my table. I still come for tarot reading sometimes. One thing, when I run out of the strawberry jam for my scones I asked them to give me a bit more. But the staff said it will be charged. So I was feeling weird, which I addressed my opinion that it should be free. At the end, I don’t pay for the extra jam. Because I was just really asking for just a bit extra to finish my left scone.

Favourite restaurant we visited on our trip. Everything was outstanding- food, service, atmosphere. I want to thank Adi, our waiter, who is the gold star standard of customer service. He really went above and beyond for us- explaining the different dishes and about Balinese culture in great detail and even surprised us with serving us complimentary vegetarian lawar (which wasn’t on the menu)! I had been searching for it the entire trip to no avail so was and am very grateful. It was busy when we went but didn’t have to wait, can still chat and hear each other comfortably, seating was also spaced out and comfortable (I’d also recommend checking out the cute shop attached with seating area, candles, cards, jewellery, books and all sorts of things to browse if you have time before or after your meal) We ordered Babi kecap (braised pork with sweet soy sauce), Pepes ikan laut (sea fish grilled in banana leaf served with kalasan soup - which felt like a warm embrace), bubur injin (black rice pudding with warm coconut cream and jackfruit - lit. translation porridge black), jamu temulawak (traditional Balinese herbal drink with turmeric, ginger, lime, honey, salt and pepper- healthy and tastes great), coke and still water. I’m so in love with Balinese food that I got the Balinese cookbook Paon (meaning kitchen) after the meal as well- I’m so happy I can take a little bit of Bali back with me. Thank you for a wonderful meal and experience. We’ll definitely visit again next time we’re in Bali!

the pictures on google definitely don’t do this place justice. truly, truly outstanding service, atmosphere and food. the best nasi goreng i’ve had and without a doubt the best dining experience we’ve had in bali, especially with our little daughter. an extensive kids menu, so much kids entertainment from coloring, building blocks, board games. i wish i would’ve asked for our servers name, he was so incredibly skilled at his job. the level of attention, friendly banter and food suggestions were impeccable. the carrot cake was to die for. we will definitely come back!
