A Winnie-the-Pooh-themed gelato cafe at Sunset Way that lives up to its hype on mochi-textured pandan waffles and Vietnamese coffee. We came because my wife had read about the freshly made pandan waffles, and the hype was earned. The coconut pandan waffle has a distinct mochi chew with a crisp shell, and the gula melaka drizzle ties it together with the gelato on top. We paired ours with two scoops; both held their own. The unexpected highlight was the Vietnamese egg coffee, recommended by guests at the next table when I asked what they were having. Rich, creamy, properly bittersweet, worth ordering even if you do not normally go for sweet coffees. Pooh theming is woven in quietly: bear-stamped cups, a teddy-shaped metal spoon perched on the glass, a Pooh quote on the wall. Endearing rather than overdone. Practical tip: order the coconut pandan waffle first. It is what brought us in and what we would come back for. A near-perfect stop if you are in the Clementi/Sunset Way area, and worth the trip for craft gelato lovers. We would gladly return.

My subcategory rating options (Food, atmosphere, service) have been removed :(. But I'll still do it this way. Food: 5 stars, easily. Crispy waffles with fluffy interior, excellently textured gelato with an incredible balance of sweetness and richness of flavour. Coconut shake was equally rich with a strong coconut taste, an absolute delight for coconut lovers. Though, a little less ice would've been nice. Atmosphere: 2 stars. Simple decor and fiddly, lightweight chairs with squeezy dining setups, oof. The noise, UGH!!!! Maybe not really the fault of the store, but those people dining at the same time were so LOUD! Hard to have any conversation. Design of the place seemed to amplify the noise. Maybe the diners so happened to converse at the resonant frequency? >:( Service: 3 stars. For a chain that advertises "nice people", while some fit the profile, others were just downright cold and unpleasant >:(. Oh, oh, and, tissues, one miserable piece, for two people? Maybe it's to mitigate waste, but that's not very nice, is it? :(. Food made me happy, place made me sad. Go to another outlet, for their food, but avoid the service and setup at this particular joint.

Yummy pistachio with matcha 🍵 ice cream combo - they serve you water once you arrive. They are Winnie the Pooh lovers. I love the quote on the wall which says Sometimes the smallest thing takes up the most room in your heart. 💓

Beautifully made coconut pandan waffle. Food came within 10 minutes and was impressed by the strong aroma along with the pandan taste, the gooey texture went amazingly with the crispy texture. Paired with their best seller pistachio ice cream that boasts a creamy texture, this was truly a perfect experience.

Love this place. Quality gelato that you can actually taste the ingredients (and it’s not all favouring and sugar) coupled with Rosemary Cones (must try) and teas to boot, all tucked away in a cosy neighbourhood location. Also, they’re open till 11pm!

First time at this place and the waffle with gelato was amazing! The pandan waffle was definitely the highlight. The texture was perfect - crispy on the outside and chewy inside (as can be seen in the photo!). The pistachio and chrysanthemum gelatos were also rich in flavour. Service was quick and water was also served with the waffle. Definitely my new go to place for gelato or waffles in Sunset Way!
