What better way to spend a holiday than chilling at one of our favourite cafes along this upper Thomson stretch!! They make a mean gyu sando that’s for sure, and eating it piping hot and fresh on the spot is completely different from ordering it on grab. Those with a lighter palate will enjoy their hotate (scallop) capellini which doesn’t overwhelm with its delicate flavors. And of course, you can wash down the meal with a cuppa joe. Not a big fan of the matcha though. If anything, I wish they had an electronic queue system so we didn’t have to physically stand outside in the heat and stench of the drain adjacent to the entrance.

really good service (sorry didn’t get your name😭) but at first the matcha i ordered was really grainy and he replaced the matcha for me saying it was a bad batch but it was fine. then i left the place already but he caught up to me with a whole new cup using the new batch of matcha. thank u for the good service! didn’t have to buy appreciate it

I really liked the tamago fillings but would prefer the bread to be more crisp on the outside to hold the fillings better. The apple chamomile drink combination was refreshing and came with a slice of apple on top. The banana cube looked so good that I decided to add it on. Love the takeaway packaging. Everything was packed properly and securely.

Overpriced and you can get better food for this price somewhere. My friends and I wanted to try them and find out its hype, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience. Should have read reviews before coming. Portion sizes are small, like many others have pointed out. Price is expensive even for cafe standards. The pork katsu sando I had was $30 after GST and service, which is expensive for a cut of a meat that doesn't scream quality. It was filled with too much tendon and was rather greasy. The sando wasn't particularly well executed and I would rather have a decent katsu don at an upscale japanese restaurant for this price. Their drinks are probably their saving grace. Matcha strawberry cloud was delicious but won't be a returning customer.

1. This is the first time I stepped into a cafe which aircon is basically non-existent. The minimal air that's blown out of the aircon is not even the tiniest bit cold.... would definitely expect a better atmosphere for these cafe prices. The whole place was sooo stuffy and hot. The employee said that the aircon temperature was already the lowest and on highest fan. Management should get maintenance to take a look at your AC 🙃 2. On a side note, food was so-so nothing to shout about, which is fine. Ordered a highball which came in such a small glass.... I know the photo on the menu is for illustration purposes only but it was totally misleading- the photo on the menu shows a full size high ball glass with the handle. What was served was a miserable small glass which would usually be used to serve matcha drinks/coffee. You may want to consider changing the photo on your menu or changing your glass.

Ordered a drink for takeout. Strawberry matcha latte was alright. Will try their coconut version of the latte next time. The queue management can be improved. We were a group of 3 but they kept giving tables to groups of 2 after us. The chairs are not bolted to the floor so not sure why they can’t make a table of 2 into a table of 3.

Came here for lunch on CNY eve. It was quite packed, and we had to sit outside, while informing the staff to move us in when there's a seat available. It started raining just as our food was getting served, and they quickly moved us into some of the reserved tables, which was a nice gesture. Ordered a cafe latte, strawberry matcha cloud, wagyu don bowl, and a tamago sando. Everything was pretty good, no complaints, except the sando was a bit hard to eat due to its thickness. Complimentary water jugs were served, and staff were generally friendly and professional. Total came up to just over $60.
