Had a great experience at Family Mookata. The food selection was surprisingly wide, especially the seafood section with plenty of fresh options to choose from. Everything was well stocked even though the place was quite busy. The staff were friendly, attentive, and quick to help whenever needed, which made the dining experience even better. One thing that stood out was the cheese sauce station, which was a nice bonus and paired really well with the grilled meats and seafood. The restaurant was packed with customers, which says a lot about its popularity, but the overall experience was still smooth and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a mookata buffet with a good variety of food, fresh seafood, and friendly service, I would definitely recommend giving Family Mookata a try.

I had seafood at family mookata, and it was a really enjoyable experience. I oder seafood buffet $19.90 and it is very reasonable and worth. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. I especially loved how the seafood tasted clean and natural, without being overly seasoned. The presentation was also impressive, making the meal feel even more special. The staff were friendly and attentive, which added to the overall experience it was a satisfying meal, and I strongly recommend this place to anyone who loves seafood. And they have ice pop and that is also good tooo.... Thankyou family mookata team ... 💫💫

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Fantastic Mookata Experience in Singapore! Had an amazing time at this Mookata spot! The ingredients were fresh, the meats were well-marinated, and the soup base was flavourful right from the start. I also loved how the staff were attentive and quick to help top up the broth or guide us on the grill. The atmosphere was cosy, perfect for a casual dinner with friends or family, and the prices were really reasonable for the quality you get. Portions were generous too — definitely great value for money. Left feeling full and satisfied. Highly recommend for anyone craving a hearty, authentic Mookata meal in Singapore!

The service is bad. When we arrive there at 9pm, we were not told about the buffet line closing at 10pm. After we paid for the buffet, the staff then told us that they have to close at 10pm and off fire at 10.30. We were very shocked that we were only have less than 1hr plus to eat the buffet and based on the cooking speed an average of 2hrs is needed for us to be full. Not just that, the rice were finished however, the staff the counter which is the manager ask if we wanted rice and then ended up telling us there is no more rice. We were very stunned as to why she ask us even when there is no rice, she should instead tell us that there is no more rice left over. The meat that they give us also is frozen in a chunk and we had no choice but to not take the food to eat and we are told that buffet wastage applies if we don’t finish, however how is that even possible if we are getting rushed to eat within 1hr. Very bad service overall, did not have loyalty card as per mentioned. Not recommended.

Family Mookata in Yishun Northview Bizhub is a cosy spot for steamboat and grill lovers. This restaurant offers fantastic value at $14.90 nett for a protein (non seafood) buffet and $19.90 nett for a seafood option. Parking is pretty easy if you are driving, the location is however only accessible by buses or hired vehicles. The ingredients are fresh, with a good mix of meats, seafood, and vegetables. These are neatly stored in refrigerated counters, keeping them fresh and hygienic. The soup base is flavourful, and the marinated meats cook well on the grill without sticking. It offers a “lok lok” option for all buffet that adds to the variety of ways you can have your meat fix. The cheese dips are also free flow here too, a real good value. Service here is friendly and prompt, and the atmosphere is casual and welcoming, ideal for small groups or family gatherings. Prices are reasonable for the quality and variety offered, the value is hard to beat for such a good combination of price, service and quality!

Visited Family Mookata (6 Yishun Industrial St 1, North View Bizhub, Stall 5) on 7 Oct 2025 around 7:35pm and was quite disappointed by the hygiene. I noticed insects flying around the marinated meats, and uncooked food items were left uncovered, even when there were no customers. When I informed the staff, they didn’t seem to understand or take action. They later changed the meat, but it wasn’t clear if it was a fresh batch. I also observed that some staff handling food were not wearing masks. I’ve submitted this feedback with photo evidence to SFA for investigation. I hope the management will take this matter seriously and improve their hygiene standards. *Staff didn’t even apologise even though i told them about the flies found in the meat Maybe SFA need to review them asap Refer to the video for evidences

It was my very first time coming for family mookata which operates (1-11pm from FB and Google) because of its value on both seafood and protein as well as LokLok. Reach at 8.40pm and was informed that LokLok counter was closed. Kinda of disappointed and sad as was excited to bring my partner to enjoy her stay in Singapore from Taiwan. Ended up, out of good will, your staff Ariel do for us one time lok lok. I would suggest if there is closing early for loklok, it will great to get us informed on social media. So not to get disappointment in near future.

Went down on 29th Nov... Was glad that we went early.. crowd started to fill the place by 6pm.. Very worth the trip down.. quite accessible.. Food was great.. if you love Seafood, this is the place for you.. the Seafood was very fresh and Price is very worth it.. the crayfish were very fresh.. not those mushy types.. there are also small crab claws.. a hit with the kids who aren't really good at peeling.. meats and the rest are not bad.. just pretty common for a mookata.. but the seafood itself is worth the price.. will definitely come back for more..
