If you are looking for the best peppery BKT late night to satisfy your cravings, this is the place for you. I like that they can mix the ribs with other choices of organs so that you don’t have to order an extra bowl which is probably too much to finish.

1 STAR based on system and attitude, not food. I'm a delivery rider. Came in to see if my order was ready. Food wasn't ready so I write down the details of the order and come back later. When order was ready, it prompt on the app so I went back to collect. When I arrived, I assumed my order was in the box so I took. Taking 3 to 5 steps away, I realised the order was wrong so I returned it. I asked the staff present but she knows only little bit of English. When I ask for my order, she ignored and told me to go to the kitchen and ask. Kitchen staff told me it's done and sent to the collecting area. I went back and forth for my order which was clearly stated "ready" on the app. When the kitchen staff met with the staff handling collection, the collection staff blamed me for taking somebody else's order and trying to accuse I was stealing. They had a CCTV at that area and can surely see me doing such offenses. Even the kitchen staff agreed with me to check the CCTV since somebody took my order. I don't understand the purpose of the CCTV if they can't check it. Still on "me stealing", the kitchen staff took another receipt and went to redo the order. The collection staff was at fault not checking who took the order and clearly doesn't want to admit it. Total 50mins wait, luckily I'm not rushing. Try to call the restaurant to explain to the staff since we don't understand each other but it was an invalid number

I woke up at 2am, jet lagged having only recently arrived in Singapore, and was relieved to find this restaurant open nearby to my hotel. It was my first experience ever eating bak kut teh and I really enjoyed it - it was delicious! The staff were very friendly and helped me order, with good English language. I am a happy customer :)

Was at the main unit for lunch on a Tuesday. Atmosphere was normal for a eatery. Truly fascinated/awed by the quality of the dishes ordered: braised intestines was very soft, ribs were generously large-sized,minced meat tofu and the preserved vegetable pork belly were just incredible! Attendant Uncle was very hardworking:serving food, drinks and topping up soup for all customers. Definitely one of my top 3 go-to for bak but teh, price worth and quality wise. Highly recommended.👍👌👏

I work around this area for more than a year, always walk past but never try before until recently. It was a little packed on CNY2, probably due to the closure of many nearby restaurants. But luckily, I managed to get seated almost immediately. Instead of just ordering Bak Kut Teh, I decided to try other zichar dishes as well. For a table of 3, we ordered a bowl of Bak Kut Teh for sharing, a small onion fish slices, prawn paste chicken and stir-fried Chinese lettuce with fermented bean curd. Nothing special about the Bak Kut Teh in comparison to the other restaurants nearby serving the same dish. For the fish slices, it was tasty but the price was steeper for the portion. For the Chinese lettuce, it was just a normal dish with a slightly higher price tag as well. Of all the dishes, the most commendable one would be the prawn paste chicken - fried to crisp and the prawn paste aroma was not overwhelming. Probably will give this a miss in the near future since the same dishes could be savoured at a fraction of the cost elsewhere.

I ordered the big intestine dish and it was the highlight of the meal. The intestines were very well braised — tender, clean, and not gamey at all. They had absorbed the braising sauce nicely, giving them a rich and savory flavor without being overly heavy. The accompanying salted vegetables were excellent as well: not too salty and not overly sour, with just enough brightness to cut through the fattiness of the intestines and balance the dish perfectly. Unfortunately, the signature Bak Kut Teh was a disappointment in comparison. While the pork ribs were tender and clearly of good quality, the soup lacked depth and character. The broth tasted quite bland, with no noticeable herbal aroma or peppery kick that Bak Kut Teh is usually known for. There was a hint of garlic, but it felt diluted and did not deliver the robust, comforting flavor expected from a signature bowl. On a positive note, the service was good , staff were prompt, efficient, and attentive, which made the dining experience smoother. Overall, the sides and offal dishes stood out much more than the signature Bak Kut Teh, which could benefit from a stronger, more flavorful broth.I ordered the big intestine dish and it was the highlight of the meal. Dropped by this 24/7 spot looking for a quick supper and was pleasantly surprised! For a total of $13 (including the clearly stated GST/service charge), I had a very satisfying meal consisting of Handmade Meatball Soup, rice, You Tiao and Iced Lemon Tea. - The Meatballs: Don’t let the "handmade" label fool you into thinking it’s just marketing; these are the real deal. They were fresh, tender, and the portion size was more generous than I expected for $7. - The Soup: This was the star of the show. It’s the same broth used for their Bak Kut Teh. It’s perfectly balanced; savoury with a hint of sweetness and a peppery kick that isn't overwhelming. I ended up having 3 bowls because it’s refillable! - Service: The staff are friendly and helpful. If I had one suggestion, it would be for the team to proactively offer soup refills every few minutes, but they are happy to do it when asked. - Vibe: It has a classic coffeeshop feel. If you sit outdoors, the fans are super strong, which keeps things cool even in our humidity. Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. It’s a solid, reliable spot for a hearty bowl of BKT any time of the day. I’ll definitely be back when the late-night cravings hit!
