Good food ruined by bad meal ordering and payment experience. During the payment phase, the user interface is long winded and is designed to be slightly tedious so that you tap recklessly without checking. What I’m referring to is the restaurant way of “rounding up” your bill to the whole number so that they can collect tips. If you do not press “not now”, you end up tipping them a bit more. This is very bad user interface and experience as there should be a dedicated section to indicate if you want to give tips or not, instead of rounding up my bill and making me tap a few more buttons to escape. Food is good, water is free, atmosphere is flip flop depending on crowd and on music, aircon needs improvement. Food portion is decent for the burger at least, can’t say the same for the nasi lemak or pasta. Big size plate but small portion. Chairs are also inconsistent, some with cushions and some don’t have cushions. Those with cushions are so torn up. Buzzers are put at the kitchen counter, and their location should be reconsidered to have a more seamless dining experience. No QR codes on the table and a small little sticker on the table providing you with instructions, and hence they are assuming their dining segmentation can see the information written on that little sticker.
