I came at ~3pm on a Monday and there were plenty of seats. I ordered the vegetarian thunder tea rice (SGD7.90) which came with a bowl of very soupy thunder tea (no option to select paste or soup). I am actually on the camp of thunder tea paste instead of thunder tea soup. This vegetarian thunder tea rice does not come with pickled radish which is a staple in other vegetarian thunder tea rice. Portions are quite large and the food tasted passable.

This was pretty good. Feeling like having something soupy, I tried the Leicha ramen. Their leicha is gao, which is the way I like it, blended well with veg and herbs 😋 Leicha ramen had much ingredients in the soup, and they even included some chickpeas in the thunder tea rice, which is a great protein source. I read somewhere that they do not use mock meat as ingredients, for people who prefer whole nutrition may give this place a try. The staff are kind and courteous. The soups on the menu looks delicious, looking forward to visit again to try those (: After a visit, was a peaceful vegetarian indeed 😆

Lovely vegetarian leicha here. Interesting bowl of ramen filled with whole ingredients, no preserved mock meat at all. Will be back to try their other dishes!

It's my first try and it's been a long time never have thunder tea rice. I ordered a thunder tea rice (brown rice). The bowl is full of ingredients and come with chickpeas, so special. The thunder tea soup is so thick, tastes rich and tasty. The combination is just nice and so fragrance. I really enjoy them so much. I'll come back for meal next time to try others nice dish as recommended by others customer. Thank you for make my day. ☺️

My first visit here. Tried the Herbal Mee Sua. Like the flavourful herbal soup. No mock meat. Quite filling. The staff was very friendly and let me try a bit of the lei cha after I said I didn't dare to order lei cha because I'm scared of bitterness. The lei cha tasted savoury and a little minty. Like this cozy little place and warm, friendly service. Will be back to try other dishes. Returned to try the Soup Set Lunch ($9.90 nett) and l love it! Choose any $6 soup or top up $2 for the $8 soups. The Watercress Soup is very flavourful and comes with Morel mushrooms and lion's mane mushroom. Really hits the spot, especially on a cold rainy day. The pumpkin rice has lots of soft pumpkin and is so good I can eat it on its own. The side dish (stir-fried lettuce) has crispy ginger bits on top for flavour and texture (no garlic and onion). The dessert is soy pudding. Love everything about this set lunch so much that I had it for lunch for two consecutive days.

Relatively newer eatery, taking over nomVnom. To my understanding, the menu is fully vegan (no egg, dairy, honey, vitamin D3). For religious vegetarians, the menu is also allium-free, but the Yellow Wine Mushroom Pot contains alcohol (housemade wine fermented from soybeans). Love their emphasis on whole-food plant-based dishes; it’s quite refreshing to eat Chinese dishes such as Mushroom Dried Noodle "Bak Chor Mee" and Teochew Steamed Mushroom (instead of fish) featuring fresh natural ingredients without mock meat! Menu highlights include double-boiled soups, leicha variations (even fried rice), homemade pumpkin rice and yam rice, etc. However everything else I've ordered have been very delicious too, ranging from Sweet & Sour Mushroom Balls to Bittergourd with Beancurd to Teochew Nanru Pot. Tasty, wholesome, and protein-packed, with a wallet-friendly price point (there are also lunch sets available). Staff was friendly and I've been a repeat customer; non-veg companions I've introduced have given me good feedback too! Connected to Tai Seng MRT.

Had a really satisfying meal at Peace Vegetarian 随缘素食 at 18 Tai Seng basement. I loved their Thunder Tea Yam Rice — it was delicious, flavorful, and very enjoyable. The portion was quite huge, the price was reasonable, and the ingredients tasted fresh. For those who love Thunder Tea Rice, this is definitely a place worth trying. They also have a good variety of other dishes on the menu, so there are plenty of options to choose from. Would gladly come back again.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The food was generally delicious, especially their Lei Cha (擂茶) and soups. I loved the curry udon noodles the first time I had them; the flavor was rich. However, the second time I ordered them, they were a bit too salty. The Lei Cha fried rice portion was normal the first time I had it, but the Tom Yum fried rice portion was noticeably smaller, making it a bit overpriced at $7.80. Overall, the taste was really good, but the quality seemed a bit inconsistent. I hope they can maintain that consistency. The photo shows the Tom Yum fried rice.
