Mr & Mrs Mohgan Super Crispy Roti Prata

I’ve always read such raving reviews about Mr & Mrs Morgan Crispy Prata, so when I was in Joo Chiat, I finally decided it was time to give it a try — and I’m glad I did! I ordered the cheese egg prata, and it was definitely a unique take on the prata I’m used to. The texture was noticeably different — wonderfully crisp and with a character of its own. The combination of egg and cheese worked really well, making it tasty, satisfying and quite addictive. It’s not quite like the usual prata you get elsewhere, which made the experience even more interesting. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere of the coffee shop. There’s a nostalgic, old-school charm that instantly brings back memories of traditional neighbourhood kopitiams. It’s the kind of place where you can imagine generations of people dropping by for a simple, comforting meal. My only gripe is that the drinks stall accepts cash only. I didn’t have any cash with me and had to approach Mrs Morgan to get cash to buy a drink, which was quite a hassle. In this day and age, having a cashless payment option would definitely make the experience more convenient. Still, the prata itself is worth trying if you’re exploring Joo Chiat!

Mr & Mrs Mohgan Super Crispy Roti Prata is easily one of my favourite prata spots in Singapore. My only regret was ordering just two plain prata because the wait was freaking 30–40 minutes... Kinda feel like I should've order 10 or something... By the time I got them, I was wishing I had ordered more. The prata itself was worth the wait though. Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and freshly made. You can literally see the prata man flipping and working the dough right there, which somehow makes the whole thing even better. They're also very generous with the curry which I helped myself to second servings of course. Definitely not a place to go if you’re in a rush, but if you have the time, it’s worth it. Next time I’m ordering more than two and trying other pratas.

This restaurant is located in a part of little food center which there are just three restaurants there The place is located just the corner of the street. Mr & Mrs Mohgan is the middle shop in the place. You can easily order your food, then find your seat. After order from this restaurant, you will get your queue number. You have to remember it and go to pick up your order when lady ask for your queue number. This restaurant is the most famous restaurant in the place. After order, you will need to wait for your food like 15 minutes. But it worth when you get your food. The price is very cheap I ordered two Prata and it was just 3 dollars. All of the bread come with curry even the sweet one. The Prata is the best. It’s a mix of crispy and soft in the same bite.

Skip the plain prata and go straight for the egg prata. Unlike most places where the egg turns into a thin, sad layer that just tastes like fried egg, here it actually serves a purpose. It gets incorporated into the dough to give the prata incredible extra fluffiness. Skip the weekend queue. I was third in line on weekdays before 8am and got my prata in less than 10 minutes. Easily one of the most satisfying prata spots around! The prata here is golden and super crispy on the outside, delightfully soft and fluffy inside, and best of all, not greasy. ​The ordering system is smooth: place your order with Mrs Mohgan at the stall—she will jot it down and assign you a number. While waiting, go find a table first, as seats can fill up. Once your order is ready, she will call out your number. Conveniently, they accept payment via PayNow as well. A fantastic breakfast/brunch spot!

Still trying to figure out what the hype is about this place... Waited almost an hour on a Saturday morning (granted yes, it is the weekend crowd) Food service was really poor But prata was over fried and just tastes super mid?

Went to Mr & Mrs Morgan in Joo Chiat on a Tuesday morning and it was a breeze, no crowd and no waiting around. The prata was crispy, nicely done and really satisfying. Had it with the fish curry, which went really well together. Simple, hearty breakfast and a good way to start the morning. Would come back for the prata!

Stopped by for a quick bite and ordered a cheese and mushroom prata. It was one of the tastiest pratas I've ever eaten. Affordable and delicious!
