Very famous teochew kueh in Singapore. My go to for glutinous rice kueh (png kueh) and soon kueh. The skin is always soft and sticky chewy. Although priced above the standard hawker centre, the price is deserving of the quality it produces. There is distinct shrimpy umami flavour coming out of the kueh and it doesn't taste like the cheap shrimp kinds. Special mention to the yam paste. Rich, creamy & well balanced with coconut milk and not too overly sweetened or jelak. The only nit-pick is the consistency sometimes. As a repeat visitor, the skin can come off a little thicker than usually sometimes .

The Teochew kueh were excellent! Tasty and authentic! I bought a few varieties to sample and they all tasted very nice 👍🏻 It’s a simple shop and probably has been there for decades. One may miss it if not paying attention to it. They were mainly for take away. I didn’t notice any sitting places for dining in. It was a quiet time when I was there and the auntie was helpful in promoting their kueh and other food items. One recommendation: lightly steam the kueh and they would bring out the flavour even more. The kueh were all very filling and I believe they were also very a lot of lard. So, don’t overbuy like what I did as I couldn’t finish them 😄

The old auntie at the cashier was super rude demanding customers not to come into the counter unless she calls for the number , embarrass customers , so even if the food is good , it really spoils the appetite and mood of the customers especially early in the morning .Her attitude needs to be improved.

Hello auntie early morning no need to give me eye roll. Kuehs are now nearly $2 per piece, I’ve tried it but I won’t be purchasing again

Famous for kueh. Yam kueh is hot item. Only manage to get 1 piece. Precious! The Orh Nee is not oily but a bit sweet. Gingo nut is hard.

Located along a row of shophouses. The staff a bit rude when I order and seems not eager to serve. I feel scared even to ask for spoon. But the kuehs are well known to be delicious. Limited street side parking.

Nice Teochew Kueh. A bit pricey, but nice 👍. Love their round Ku Chye Kueh.

Good old fashioned traditional taste with slightly thicker skin but the ingredients are generous. Average is between $1.80-1.90 per piece.
