Northshore Plaza I

Northshore plaza 1 n 2 is within the mall itself just a short walk away ... Northshore plaza has no clothing shops,no bookstore,toys r us ... For shopping seriously everyone there is nothing in the mall ... What is the point of having plaza 1 n 2 where there nothing to shop ... Oh but there is a diaso there ... Of u could call that shopping? Lots of foods on northshore plaza ... I asked a person today in the mall what is the main attraction of northshore plaza n the person told me food ... He was so right about that ... So much of food there... McDonalds,all American food,Indian food,Thai food,food court(so sorry everyone 1 I have not tried anything in that foodcourt yet) but I did c Muslims going in there so maybe there is a Muslim stall I guess??? Lots of sitting area at northshore plaza ... Beautiful views to look at ... Flavored drinks... Decathlon shop ... Anytime fitness... There is a walkway leading to northshore plaza 2 ... I went to take a look at the place n decide to review the place .... At about 7 something at night ... The place is quite scary I felt ... I guess morning should be okay ... For northshore plaza not exactly a closed place ... More of a open place so looks quite scary at night ... Not recommended to go there at night every1... But don't worry everyone... Managed to capture lots of pictures for everyone to c ... I was brave enough to take lots of pictures....🤫 Felt that the place was very big but quite empty inside... Maybe if more shops inside would b less scary in my opinion.... Take a look at the pictures I have taken at my own risk ...

Chanced upon this prawn noodles shop (River South Hoe Nam Prawn Noodles) and decided to give it a try. ▪︎ it had the traditional prawn noodles taste ▪︎ the chilli mix was rather potent. I had the "normal" spicy version. Maybe next round, I'll ask for less spicy? ▪︎ prawns were big and fresh ▪︎ broth is rich in flavour. Could taste the sweetness of the prawns probably boiled over many hours...so it didn't disappoint ▪︎ the Ngoh Heong Platter was so-so... Likely to come back to try either the soup version or the one with pork ribs.

No air conditioning and despite the average footfall, rentals keep increasing and a lot of shops and eateries can’t survive here. Even Haidilao closed down. Qiii and the oyster cake closed down as did Guerney Drive and a lot of other restaurants.

Supermarket and food outlets in the vicinity. The main focus here is Decathlon. You can watch the Straits of Johor if you go to the other side of the building.

Why ?

A neighbourhood mall. A lot of shops closure. Good if you looking for a meal or grocery shopping.

Plenty of food choices with major brands like Red Man, Decathlon, Daisy, Giant Supermarket. Spacious parking makes it convenient. Great spot for shopping and dining with variety. It is also connected to an LRT station.

The first of the two Northshore Plaza extension, this part of the whole mall had undergone quite a change since it first opened. Lots of shops are gone, replaced by new stores and just recently, many of those folded too. There is definitely something wrong with how the rental is being managed, perhaps it’s too expensive for an area with limited footfall.
