Situated in a hawker centre. Even though the rating is below 4.0, there are still a lot of patrons and you have to look for a place first then queue up to order. We ordered Bak Kut, liver and trotter. The ribs sold out very fast. The trotter they will chop into pieces easy to consume. The soup is peppery type. You can also order other dishes from other stalls. The service is fast and prompt. Overall experience is not that bad after all. We enjoy our meal here thoroughly. Get ready to sweat with their soup and chilli too!

Today's meal, consisting of Bak Kut Teh, Mui Chai, 粉腸, and rice, cost $11.50. I noticed the soup is less peppery than in the past, but I'm pleased that the overall standard and quality is maintained.

Hua Xing Bak Kut Teh: A Worthy Hunt for a Table, A Triumph for the Tastebuds! My inaugural visit to Hua Xing Bak Kut Teh was a lesson in navigating the delightful chaos of a popular hawker stall. Let's be honest, the initial hurdle was securing a table during the peak lunch hour. For a first-timer, the "find a table first, order later" system required a bit of on-the-fly strategising, a mini-adventure amidst the bustling crowd. After a brief, strategic scan and a polite request to share, I finally secured a spot and dashed back to the stall. The anticipation, however, was well worth the effort. My order consisted of their signature Bak Kut Teh, Pig Trotter, and Preserved Vegetables (Mei Cai), a trio of dishes that delivered on every level. The Bak Kut Teh was a delicious and healthy enjoyment. Unlike some versions that may carry traces of fats around the pork ribs, Hua Xing pork ribs were firm on the bite and fat free. The ribs went well with the aromatic, peppery broth and resulted in a bowl of simple, unadulterated comfort. The Pig Trotter was equally impressive. The skin was gloriously gelatinous, the meat tender and flavourful, and the braising sauce, a perfect balance of sweet and savoury, was utterly addictive. It was a dish that warranted my indulgence of a full bowl of white rice to go with the pig trotter and the accompanying savoury braised sauce. The Preserved Vegetables (Mei Cai) provided a welcome counterpoint to the richness of the meat. The slightly sweet, earthy flavours of the mei cai, braised to a melting tenderness, were a perfect accompaniment, cutting through the richness and adding a layer of complexity to the meal. Despite the initial table-hunting challenge, the food arrived surprisingly quickly, less than 30 minutes after ordering. And the value for money? Exceptional. Generous portions, quality ingredients, and flavours that exceeded expectations. Hua Xing Bak Kut Teh is a testament to the enduring appeal of traditional Singaporean hawker cuisine. The bustling atmosphere, the efficient service, and, most importantly, the incredible food, make it a must-visit. I'm already planning my return, this time with a group, to fully enjoy the trio of dishes I sampled, and to explore their steamed fish, which I've heard rave reviews about. Highly Recommended!

Standard of BKT dropped drastically after renovation, seems to have a brand new set of crews. I use to frequent this stall every week with my family, with them serving very quality BKT spup and steam fish, loved it very much. However, after the market went through a renovation, the stall and crew changed (now mainly vietnamese) with only 1 familiar face (maybe the boss, use to help with order, now cooking the soup). The attitude of the staff is also terrible, when making order, the staff was looking elsewhere without even looking at me, when questioned, she look at me and when continue to order, she looked elsewhere again. Then when I signal to the staff to add soup, she asked if I want to play hp?! Extremely disappointed with this stall, quality dropped and bad service attitude. Will not frequent it anymore.

This year, I've been traveling to Singapore a lot for work. Initially, I frequented well-known tourist spots, but I started looking for local flavors. A friend recommended Hua Xing Bak Kut Teh, and it was truly amazing! A small stall quickly filled the entire table. The staff kept refilling the soup, so I didn't have to ask for it myself. The pork ribs were tender and juicy, and the kidneys were slightly pink and succulent. Finally, they served a steamed fish, which was fresh and delicious... I couldn't help but overeat, and even at dinner time, I still felt quite full. Five stars... awesome!

Not sure how the soup taste like because they forgot our order. When we went to ask the lady just said oh we didn't bring you the food? Sorry sold out. Quite true to some other customers negative review below. So future diners, please remember to keep asking for your order, because as a Michelin store, they are very popular and they may forget your order.

Decent soup, pork trotters are a family favourite as my dad says the lor is so much more flavourful than what you can find elsewhere - so, so yummy when slathered all over your bowl of rice. Zhap chye is ok, can get if you are craving but nothing too crazy. Definitely worth getting the steamed fish though, you can choose the cut/type of fish etc you want and the price is more than reasonable for a whole fish (~$50). Will usually purchase our own youtiao at one of the neighbouring stores. Staff can be pretty annoying.

My favourite bak kut teh that we used to have weekly with family since young. Havent had this bak kut teh for at least 10 years and had the opportunity to go back today. Love their peppery soup, ordered steamed red snapper and prime rib soup. You need to let them know what type of rib you are after. Had to wait for a longer time due to a Gas issue but it was well worth the wait. It's a very very busy hawker centre so do expect to wait but definitely worth it. Happy that someone took over the stall and it's still bustling.
